“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.“

“The tacos are amazing. I am a huge fan of the Al pastor and the chicken. Also, every Tuesday is taco Tuesday so by one get one for Al pastor. Best deal ever. Also it’s mom and pop and the service is quick and the staff are always so nice.“

“Unassumingly small, open late, and cash only. Incredibly good food. Haven't found anything on the menu that wasn't a 10/10. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.Parking: Can be difficult to find parking nearby, but that is not uncommon for the area.“

“Everything here was 5 stars across the board — the food, the service, the atmosphere. As for the food, we ordered the birria tacos & ramen, along with a few of the HH street tacos. The flavor was amazing, I haven’t had birria so rich across the East Coast! The horchata was also amazing. The vibes were great inside, and Juana was so kind. It was a wonderful experience and can’t wait to go back!“

“I'm visiting NJ from El Paso, Texas and there is nowhere to find Puebla food :(. I ordered a cemita de milanesa de res and it was delicious ???? just as I remembered them on my visits to Puebla, the portion is huge ?, It only takes 2 servings, also pot coffee, that one lacked flavor. The place was clean, and the service was excellent from the young man who served us, very attentive, polite and helpful, I will definitely go again.“

“Wow! Can I tell you something? This place has amazing food! Fresh everything (tortillas, salsa, etc) and extremely well made. Really it’s some of the best I’ve had in Philly. And I loved the atmosphere and extremely kind customer service. Come here if you know good, real food.“

“Got some takeout and it was slammin'. This immediate area was heavily due for some really good Mexican/Hispanic food. Looking forward to dining in.Year update: It's still the best in the area and I'm always excited to eat here!“

“Service and most importantly the food are amazing. They take credit card. The tortas are normal American sandwich size. They're delicious but if you're expecting two meals out of one tortas you're going to be disappointed.Recommend the platter if you can sit down and eat. Good lunch size portion and comes with rice, beans, a tiny side salad (which was surprisingly refreshing) and tortillas. Great way to taste all their different flavors in one meal.100% a takeout joint though. there are just a few shaded chairs. no tables.“

“This place is so good there isn’t something I haven’t tried yet that I don’t like. I don’t like fast food taco places but this place has so much flavor and your wouldn’t think it’s more on the fast food side of things.Wheelchair accessibility: Right on the corner, no stairs to get inside so easily accessible.“

“When visiting family in NJ, we tried Vicki’s on a quick date night. We arrived around 8 & had a great experience. As we ordered, we asked several questions about the different food items & the server (who we found out was Vicki’s mom) answered all of our questions. Given that we have different spice levels (I have a very low pin tolerance for spicy but love the flavors!), she even suggested items we might enjoy. We ordered a chicken burrito, a chicken quesadilla, chicken enchiladas, & a side of guacamole & chips. We also tried several desserts: flan, rice pudding, & tres leches cake. Our food was delivered in a reasonable time & everything was delicious! The atmosphere was cozy & clean too. My only constructive feedback for the future: perhaps some pictures with the menu (everything was typed on paper) because we didn’t have much context of what we were getting. Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience!“

“My wife and I tried this place for the first time on 02/09. They actually had live entertainment! A guy singing his heart out in Spanish. It really added to the atmosphere. The food is phenomenal! Very authentic. The portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back.“
