Cannot overstate how abysmal the service was, on a Monday evening. They're obviously running a skeleton crew on slow days. Half an hour to get our drink order taken. Completely sold out of chicken wings. Another half an hour waiting for dessert, which we would have skipped if it wasn't a birthday dinner for a family member. Dessert came out wrong, ignored our bday girl's request for ice cream on the side. Our server could not possibly care less, like at least humor us with a half-hearted apology. Embarrassing, disheartening experience :(

Went there Saturday before concert.Atmosphere was excellent. The staff was excellent, first time there. Our server was very helpful with our questions. The drink selection was great. We ordered the crispy cola wings, great flavor but wings were over cooked and dried. The Chicago pizza was excellent, I order a sausage and ricotta pizza. My wife order mushrooms and truffle pasta, it was excellent. I found it better than the pizza. Great place and will return very soon.

I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE MY BUSINESS!Never in my 29yr yrs have I been discriminated on in a restaurant. I mean never!Had reservations 3/10/24 and was wearing a Gap, magenta pullover hoodie. With jeans & a collard jacket. My gf; jeans and a nice blouse. The hostess made specific issue with what I was wearing. First confirmed it was appropriate, then recanted to then say twice “let me check with my manager” (the restaurant was practically empty).A party of 5 walked in and overheard the hostess and along with my girlfriend were in utter disbelief!I’ve dined at Michelin star restaurants all across the country, and am a food critic!Thankfully in the process it was my girlfriend who said “no, we will dine elsewhere” and we left.We were really looking forward to trying this place for our first time but didn’t and I won’t be back ever!

They are the example of what Detroit style pizza. The bread was cold fermented for 72 hours. Perfectly airy, added an amazing flavor, and finally witnessed the main differences between other deep dish style pizzas…when you are you coming to San Francisco?

Yes, go eat pizza here. Monday night and the atmosphere was dark but fun. The flames from the pizza oven were roaring. The waitress was knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly enough. Drove 30 minutes for the pizza, and already planning to go back. Yum!

I’ve been wanting to try Blue Steel Pizza Company for a while now and was extremely disappointed in the food.We started out with the Coca Cola bbq wings and they didn’t taste anything like bbq wings. The chicken itself was good but the sauce wasn’t what we were expecting. For the pizza we ordered a classic style pizza. It was okay but some parts / bites were super salty compared to other bites. The Coke soda taps were all flat as well.In addition, service was pretty slow which was odd because there were only two other tables.Pretty disappointed with my visit here. Also be careful of the parking lot. There was one spot that has a huge dip, so if you have a smaller car it’ll damage your bumper.

Went to blue steel for drinks that are not pictured, instead got appetizers. The meatballs and the tuna tar tar were good the sauce was a tad salty, but the meatballs were perfect. The tuna tartar was great would definately re order.

great food, inconsistent service. I worked with MGNT to make reservations for a saturday early evening birthday dinner for myself. they made it smooth and easy to deal with. they were professional and very informative of the menus and what options they have. id also like to mention they were open to working with me on the packages. i decided to keep it simple and let everyone order a la carte. we were seated upstairs promptly at 5pm for my dinner. the service was incredibly slow and our server was not exactly mr. personality. quite a few of us noted how it seemed he was bothered by us and not friendly. everyone received their food and i had to ask 3 times for my pizza, to be honest i think he forgot. this sucked because i filled up on other items, versus enjoying my pizza with everyone else. we were a group of 8 and 1 baby, but we were sober and not a roudy bunch. we all basically ordered the same thing and things simple. it just seemed like he didnt care or bother to check on us much either. i asked for wet naps for the wings, he said we dont have any ( which is true), but didnt offer more napkins just walked away. not ony were we dumbfounded that blue steel serves various wings, but no wet napkinds, but that he basically didnt offer any help or solution. very blaise if you will. anyway, maybe we were reading too much into it but it seemed off, but the food was outsanding so thats why the 4 star review. cola wings are a must get. please get wet naps. these wings are juicy and messy and good lord is that flavor on point. sweet and sticky! the angry vodka pie is a 2nd must get. would i say this tastes like vodka sauce? not really. but the sauce is outstanding. every slice had a fluffy inner, with a slight crunchy outter crust. the stuffed mushroom pie is an honorable mention, but i felt like it was missing something. maybe a different cheese? more mushroom pieces?

The Valentine's Day chef's table event was some of the finest dining I've had in years. Certainly some of the best in New Jersey. Each of the five courses and drink pairings were fantastic and worth every penny. If they continue the event annually I'll be trying to grab a reservation every year.

My fiancé & I had our first date here & loved everything about this establishment. I decided to relive our first date for Valentine’s Day (3 years later) & the food, the atmosphere & the workers are still amazing. Even down to the hosts always checking on everyone at their tables. Oh & obviously their food is just ridiculously delicious.

I have been here a handful of times because the pizza is good. Yesterday, the service was sloppy and slow and unprofessional. We ordered the cola wings which were presented nicely and cooked well however the flavor was just okay. We also ordered the shrimp appetizer which never came out. When we asked about she went and checked and said it'd be out in 2 minutes. It came out in 10 minutes. The shrimp were tough and overcooked and lacking any flavor... for $19 by the way. We asked the server where my husbands beer was amongst other things being that she never checked on us or remembered that we were her table. She seemed annoyed and was rushing around the entire meal. Took almost 10-15 minutes to even get water when we first sat down. The pizza came out by a runner and was literally almost thrown at us. It wasn't even very hot. Overall yesterday was not an enjoyable experience. We won't be back. If anything we'll order the pizza...to go!

I just recently went to Blue Steel for the first time with a large group. I was very impressed with the food, ambiance and service. Employees were super polite and attentive. Our server, Alex was amazing. Very professional and personable. We had a fairly large group. While the place was packed, we had great service. We were all served our entrees almost simultaneously. As far as the food goes, the meatballs were fabulous as were the cola wings. I had the hangar steak entree which was excellent. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but this place was well worth it. Looking forward to visiting again.
