If you’ve never had a 1 pound mozzarella stick, then I implore you to visit the Brookdale in Bloomfield! They have so many other crazy appetizers for brunch, but the big mozz There is definitely my favorite! They also have an amazing pour over dessert, the shrimp and grits is also crazy everything there is just fantastic. I will definitely be back for dinner!

The food is consistently excellent, and the service is generally reliable, though it varies from night to night. They offer a fantastic range of cocktails and beers. However, the menu lacks variety and has remained largely unchanged since the restaurant opened. It would be great if they introduced some special or seasonal selections to make it my go-to place.

We really enjoyed the food and ambience at the Brookdale. The food was delicious and the presentation of the dishes made the meal even more enjoyable. Our wait staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drink specials. We will definitely be returning.

Good food, very small portions. Very overpriced. Nice atmosphere. Been there many times. Local and convenient

The Brookdale Bar & GrillThis was the first time my family and I have been to this place, we drove 45 minutes to try it after hearing about it many times. Micheal was our server, i think he came to our table 3 times on his own, to get our drink order, food order and give us the check, for it being saint Patrick’s day it was not that busy. We had to flag him down every time, not sure how many tables he had in his section, but he was not very attentive, he never once asked how is everything, he would drop the food off and walk away, he didn’t even smile. We started with 3 appetizers. Crispy wings which we got naked with sauces on the side. Best way to describe the wings, if you have ever been to Universal Studios in Florida and had a turkey leg, that’s exactly what the wings tasted like. The buffalo sauce on the side was good, the blue cheese was the most potent blue cheese we have ever had, maybe some people like it, wasn’t a fan though. The ranch was 10 out of 10 saves the wings. Next we got the BROOKDALE PASTRAMI RUEBEN QUESADILLA, wasn’t too bad, the thousand island dressing tasted mostly of ketchup, didn’t go well with the quesadilla, but the ranch made it over the top! Lastly we got the BIG CHEESE( 1lb mozzarella stick) which was just a normal mozzarella stick, nothing special, the tomato sauce that came with it was bland, the ranch again coming in to help out the flavors. Out of the appetizers, the ranch was the best thing on the table. We did the KOREAN BBQ TACOS “BIRRIA STYLE” which is an app but we got as a an entree and those were very good, juicy even without the birria juice. We also got the 1/2 rack St. Louis ribs were good, fell right off the bone, little too salty, sauce was good though. Overall the food was a 4 out of 10, the server should be retrained on hospitality, we still tipped 18% but we are very generous and tip way above recommended but didn’t feel like he really cared about our table.

Recently was there for a birthday party. We had a very large party totally overpriced. The quality of food was not good at food came out cold a pretzel $21 that was lukewarm. Never came around to clear off the table after eating just all in all, it’s not a place I would go to again for a party. It’s a good place to grab a burger and leave very disappointed Bar area was a nice vibe but bartender was dry like the wings . Only good there was the parking .

This place is stellar! I had stopped in a few weeks ago on a whim to grab a bite and they knocked it out of the park on that visit so expecations were high. I was in tonight with a friend, we sat at the bar and Nicole the bartender took incredible care of us! I was in the mood for a gin cocktail, and she offered to make me something off menu. What she crafted was absolultey delitcable, perfectly balanced, and incredibly easy to sip! Her skills as a bartender are superb, and her service is next level. The food delivered as well, the steak sandwich was tender, packed with flavor, and something that I will be coming back for again as long as it is on the menu! Truly a great experience, food and cocktails were great, Nicole's service and expertise as a bartender made tonight extraordinary!

The menu seems to have more appetizers then meal options. Service was very slow and meal items were brought out at different times so individuals were eating separately. Rather eat at a diner next time.
