Clean. Food was fresh and delicious. They were hand making crab wantons when we arrived and you could tell our curry puff appetizer was hand made also! Our first visit but definitely NOT our last !

Everything my parents and I had was delicious! The mango curry, the drunken noodles and the seafood soup. A side of coconut rice to go with the curry was perfection. It was such a pleasure to be there as the hostess/waitress was incredibly sweet.

I was excited to try this place, but was disappointed by overpriced, bland food. As another review noted, there was a lack of taste. I ordered the cashew nut Thai style, but my rice was spicier than the actual meal. For the price I expected a lot more protein. Maybe it was an off night?

The good reviews must be from decades ago. $17.00 for a few chunks of beef and vegetables? Also, so bland! Coconut shrimp were just god awful. Place was COMPLETELY empty at lunch time. Now I know why. Avoid.

My favorite restaurant! They have the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The owners are so kind and welcoming, creating the most lovely dining atmosphere. I really appreciate the fact that they have so many vegan friendly options as well. My favorite dish is the vegetable red curry, it’s out of this world!! Everything they make is incredible.

If I could leave 6 stars I would. Boonton Thai has the best Thai cuisine in north NJ. I’ve been eating here for a long time now so I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu and not a single thing has disappointed, with options for everyone including GF and Vegetarian, you will leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face. The owners are so friendly and sweet. Eating here feels like eating in my grandmas kitchen, they pour so much love into their food and they really care about the quality of their ingredients! Definitely worth a visit! My favorite dishes are the duck rolls, massaman curry, and coconut dessert!

Stop in dinner as I love thai food. The restaurant is nice and cozy, we had a warm welcoming, service was good and waitress was attentive. Food was flavorful and fresh. Thai dumplings- one of the best Ive had. Duck was crispy and tamarind sauce super fresh. The spice was perfect in the pad prik sauce and chicken well cooked. The pineapple fried rice was delicious and full of flavor. Desserts also tasteful. I dont live in the area but definitely worth the drive- well return soon to try more on the menu.Parking: Street meter parking

I want to preface this by saying this was our first time ordering from here, and we placed a large takeout order so maybe it was just a one-off experience! Unfortunately, we had a really disappointing takeout meal from Boonton Thai Cuisine, with our main issue being with the cost vs. the quality and portions of the food. We paid a little more than $170 (tip included) to feed 6 people, and the sizes of our main dishes and appetizers were shockingly small considering that's about $30 per person. We got the beef fried rice, chicken fried rice, Singapore noodles, chicken and broccoli, Boonton Thai chicken wings, vegetable spring rolls, chicken satay, Thai salad, pla rard prik, and garlic chicken, and nothing really stood out as super flavorful or worth the price to us. The chicken satay was just some short, thin strips of cold dry chicken for nearly $8, and I don't think I've ever gotten smaller spring rolls from a restaurant before. All of our dishes were tasty enough to finish, but overall everything was pretty bland and we didn't have any leftovers, which again we expected for paying so much per person. The person that took my order estimated it would take 30-40 minutes, but I ended up waiting an extra 20 minutes in the mostly empty restaurant for it to be finished. The kitchen did seem very busy though and it's a small restaurant, so I definitely understand filling a really big order would take that long!Like I said up top, this place has great reviews from locals who have been coming here for years so we might have just caught them on a bad night or maybe we didn't order their best dishes. I wonder if it'd be better to dine-in here, since the atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the woman that helped me with my order was incredibly kind. It smells amazing in there too! You can tell they work really hard and a lot of love goes into the food at Boonton Thai Cuisine, but it just missed the mark for us, and we were really disappointed with how much we spent on small portions of food that didn't justify the price.

Stopped in here and had the Sweet and Sour Chicken... and I gotta tell ya, it did NOT disappoint. Also had a Thai Ice Tea, which was incredible. The place isn't elegant inside, but who cares... I've been to Thailand, and the shabby interior is in it's own way kind of authentic Thai. :) The Thai family running the place couldn't have been nicer. Really nice people. I'll go again for sure! Boonton is a very sweet little town, by the way!
