First time. Tried something different and everyone loved their food. Lots of flavor and lots of quality food. Pizza was excellent. Great crust. No flop.

Ambience: Cute and clean. There aren't a lot of tables. Service: Waitress was great!! Attentive and fast Food: Naanchos appetizer was tiny for 19 dollars! We couldn't believe how small it was for the price. It wasn't great. Garlic naan was almost 6 dollars for 4 tiny pieces. The saag and eggplant tasted Italian which is the fusion. Indian dishes that taste Italian. Lots of ginger and garlic which we liked. Eggplant dish had very little eggplant and lots of tomatoes and onions. 70 dollars total for 1 appetizer, 2 dishes, and 1 bread order. We should have tried the pizza for the Indian fusion. For what we ordered, we should have gone to an Indian restaurant.

Delicious, unique, friendly atmosphere! My family and I stopped here on a road trip and we are so glad we did! The Paneer Masala Vodka dish was outstanding! The tikka masala tacos, tikka masala pizza, paneer dumplings, and the samosa alfredo were also all incredible. Super friendly waiter and cook, we definitely recommend stopping here!

Was excited to try this place! We were the only customers at dinner hour (other restaurants in the area were busy). Good concept..only saw one staff member & he took a while to greet us & then take the order. Friendly though. My roll was good; husband's lamb was tough & chicken dish was just ok.

When I first saw the menu, I found it intriguing but didn't know if it would really work. Italian and Indian fusion? Well, it works! It really, really works! The food is absolutely fantastic! Plus, the restaurant staff is super nice and attentive, and it's very comfortable & cozy inside the dining room. .

The food is extremely great. The owner is a nice man who is also accommodating when need be and the food is really and a great fusion of food. Would recommend to everyone.Vegetarian options: Many different options for Vegetarians.Wheelchair accessibility: There's nothing obstructing the chairs on coming in. Only thing though is help is needed to open/hold the door

What happens when an experienced South Asian chef and his family take over a pizzeria and Italian restaurant on Main Street in Boonton? The only Indian-Italian fusion BYO restaurant in the area, of course. Located in a quaint and historic downtown amidst an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants, i2i is a hidden gem that features a robust menu of tasty cooked-to-order options with traditional Italian specialties, traditional Indian specialties, and fusion blends of the two cuisines, as well as the typical pizzas and calzones you'd expect to find at any self-respecting pizzeria in northern New Jersey. The cozy, welcoming space is divided into two distinct sections which feature either a very casual ambiance in the pizzeria where you place order at the counter or a ever-so-slightly-less-casual ambiance in the restaurant with sit-down service that's been a bit hit-or-miss on our visits (requiring diners to walk over to the pizzeria to flag down a server to order, refill their water, or get a check) and menus provided on the restaurant's website by scanning the QR code on the table. On both of our visits to I2i, my dining companion and I split an order of the unique Naanchos appetizer ($15-18, depending upon the topping), comprised of toasted (but still slightly chewy) naan chips tossed in chutneys and topped with mango, sriracha sauce, and pomegranate pearls, which was very tasty. On my first visit, I ordered the Samosa Chaat ($14), a fried turnover filled with potatoes, peas, and cilantro served with chutney and topped with pomegranate pearls, which was VERY tasty. On my most recent visit I tried the Cholay Masala with Chickpeas ($18), comprised of chickpeas slow-cooked in a sauce of tomatoes, onions, garlic, and ginger and served with a side of white rice. It was pretty bland until I added a few spoonfuls of my dining companion's tikka sauce. My dining companion, who admittedly isn't a big fan of Indian cuisine, selected the Chicken Tikka Masala ($21), comprised of boneless marinated chicken cooked in a savory tomato and onion sauce and served with a side of white rice, which she really enjoyed. Portions are adequate but not overly generous. With its innovative menu full of tasty options that appeal to adventurous and not-so-adventurous diners, i2i is a unique addition to the Boonton dining scene and we'll definitely try it again next time we're in the area. Pro Tip: i2i is a BYOB establishment, so feel free to bring your favorite wine or beer to enjoy with your dinner.

Very average food, extremely slow service, uncomfortable temperature due to a problem with the front door gap, not a lot of Italian taste in any

Food was OK. Overpriced for what you get. Saw the waiter once to take the order, once to bring out the food and once for taking the plates away. Charged an automatic 20% for 3 people. Service was a joke for the 20 dollar tip he got. Not much to the atmosphere at all, this restaurant felt like an afterthought.

Great take on fusion cuisine. Tried the makhani pasta and was really good. Little pricey though; you’ll quickly be spending $50-60 for 2 people effortlessly.

this place deserves more love. In a world of many Desi pizzerias this is a shineout in a very quaint area alongside other eateries in the area.

To say this food was a bit expensive is an understatement. They charge way too much for the portions they serve. The prices have jumped upwards of 7 dollars a dish from their previous menu prices. A lunch with my husband and daughter (who ate 2 slices of pizza and a $10 order of 6 mozzarella sticks) cost us over 100 dollars without dessert. There was no alcohol and we ordered no apps aside from the sticks which were not shared, they were my daughter's lunch.2 Indian meals included a creme brulee cup of rice with a couple of peas on top, and a bowl of "soup" that I had to fish scrawny pieces of meat out of. For nearly 20 dollars for a butter chicken, and 25 for the curry lamb, we should have taken home leftovers. Instead, we had to order extra sides of rice (6 dollars each) to be able to finish our "soup", which we ordered two orders of naan which were also 6 dollars each, initially to accomplish. I thought for 6 dollars I'd be receiving a couple pieces of naan, but it was literally one piece cut into 4's for 6 dollars. The drinks costed us 15 dollars.I was using the older menu, because their new menu only was available with a cell phone and I did not have one on me. They informed me the prices were increased, but not that they increased the prices SO DRASTICALLY. I still would have ordered, expecting a much larger portion.I very rarely write reviews, and I am not here to say the food was bad. The food was very good. But I cannot and will not recommend this establishment to my friends and family. I feel compelled to share my sticker shocking experience. We will not be returning.
