We are traveling back from Virginia to Maine and Bordentown is about 1/2 way. We got our hotel room and went onto the AroundMe app and found a restaurant in the village. It is pouring buckets of rain and we couldn't find the restaurant we chose. So we parked the car and ducked into Jester's Cafe wet umbrellas and all. Nice bar, clean and maybe going through a bit of a renovation but still serving so we ordered. I had the BEST chicken parmigiana I have ever had. Tender chicken, angel hair pasta, DELICIOUS!! My husband had their burger and it obviously was not a processed piece of meat. Yummy hamburger hand pressed and served with a generous portion of tomatoes, lettuce and mayo on the side. The handcut fries were also delicious! If we didn't live so far away we'd eat here on a regular basis! You have got to try it!!

I love Jester's!!!!!! My waitress Melissa was an absolute doll. She took care of my table and was so attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire dining experience. The food was outstanding and I will definitely be returning. Ask for Melissa!

I want to keep this short and sweet. I didn't have high expectations. Not because they deserved low praise or shoddy decor, it was just bc I expected a simple cafe meal/sandwich. But then I had the senne chicken skewers. They mentioned a semi elaborate process of marinating them. I can only say they are marinated in love and crack bc they are potentially the best little bites of chicken I've ever had!! If that's not worth you going, then I don't think you even deserve to enjoy the chicken bliss.

Great food! I’ve been coming here for years. The owner gave out lottery tickets to all the women in the restaurant for Mother’s Day. I thought that was a really nice gesture. Highly recommend!

First time here today, makes me wonder what took me so long. Absolutely fantastic food. Good drink selection. I had a chicken/pasta dish with seared asparagus, mushrooms and goat cheese- perfection. The limoncello cake was light/airy and not overly sweet. The espresso was excellent- not bitter as it can be at some restaurants. The service was attentive and friendly without cloyness. Kudos to the owner and staff- A gem of a restaurant.
