If you love Italian ice or as many of the locals call it- water ice- you are going to love Rita's! Fresh made flavors on the daily and delicious toppings make for the perfect sweet treat. My kids love going, and I can't agree more. It's not a huge shop- just a few seats, but it is clean, well managed, and worth a stop. The staff is always willing to suggest products and let you taste flavors.

Everytime I walk in the place reeks of bleach or cleaning materials. It's so strong you can always taste it in the air. It's pretty disgusting, it's only Italian ice there's no reason it should smell that bad in there on multiple occasions.

The last two times I have tried to go there have not been good. As soon as I opened the door the smell of bleach was so overwhelming that I had to turn right back around and leave. My boyfriend stayed to place our order but when he came out he said the taste of bleach was in his mouth and the smell wouldn’t leave his nose. This was hours before closing so I’m not sure why it has been so bad. The bleach smell has to be detrimental to the young kids working in there. Not good for anyone’s health to breath that!

Horrible experience at Rita’s of Bordentown tonight! Normally we have great service there but tonight, an unfortunate looking girl named Bella made our experience terrible. Aside from looking very dirty (she shouldn’t be serving food!), she was unable to handle a simple question without giving us an attitude. When I told her it was a simple question and didn’t need to be answered with an attitude, her attitude grew worse and her defensiveness increased. Her ‘manager’, another nasty person, was absolutely no help in defusing her staff member. Stay away from this location!! Go to Bordentown Creamery or Sunday’s instead! Don’t waste your money on bad service!!

This place is my favorite Rita’s! I love how they post the flavors so you can see what’s on the menu without calling in. Always unique flavors compared to other Rita’s which makes it fun. Owner is amazing and staff is friendly! I recommend this Rita’s to everyone.
Clean. Staff has been very helpful. I have been twice and I have liked it each time. People were respectful and helped out a little one try to decide what they wanted. They offered tastes to their flavors. I would definitely go back again.

This more recently opened location--I think in about the last 6 months, is excellent. I go to this one quite often and there is never a long line. The employees are very nice, cheerful and professional. The inside is always clean and well lit. Also, being at the top of a hilly area, you can enjoy the view somewhat. There is a cluster of large trees on the hilly area as part of the terrain and view. A very nice and cozy location while enjoying your cool, creamy treat!! I give it 2 thumbs up.
