“While I no longer live in New Jersey, every time I visit my family, I try to stop by The Buttered Biscuit. It is truly one of my top 5 brunch experiences in the country, and I’ve had a lot of brunch experiences in my life. It’s always busy and humming with energy. The benedicts are divine, the coffee is incredible, and the biscuits are absolute heaven. Highly recommend a visit. It’s worth the wait!“
“I feel so welcome here. The food is delicious ?I eat here most times I go out to eat.Dietary restrictions: They’ll make your order anyway you ask for. They’re very accommodating to your likes and preference.Kid-friendliness: They have finger foods that are popular with children.Wheelchair accessibility: I’m honestly not sure, I haven’t paid attention to that.“
“What a wonderful surprise at the Bradley Beach train station! My husband and I were looking for somewhere different to go for breakfast and we found reviews for Back In Time Cafe on Yelp and had to try it! I had the sunshine sandwich which was amazing and the husband had the frittata which he said was excellent. We started our breakfast by sharing potato pancakes. The best potato pancakes we had in ages! I'm still thinking about them... We can't wait to return for lunch because there were definitely lunch items that we must try, and those potato pancakes, yum! Attentive, friendly, excellent service. Parking is plentiful at the train station. Indoor and outdoor seating. We will definitely be back very soon!“
“Loved my visit to the Bradley Beach location - truly the cutest spot for lunch (if you love anything and everything pink, this place is for you)! I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon, so the space wasn't too crowded. A few people had their laptops open and when I asked, the waitress shared the wifi password with me. Seemed to be work-lunch friendly, but that may not be the case during their busier hours - be sure to double-check! Their menu was extensive and every dish was so creative! I ordered the Birria Grilled Cheese Please, which was absolutely amazing. The sandwich was so flavorful and juicy and cheesy - what more can you ask for? Plus, the fries that came on the side were thin, perfectly salted, and not too greasy. The portions were big, so I was able to take some home for later too. Definitely will be coming back ASAP to eat my way through the menu!“
“I gave The Perfect Perk Cafe 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Why did the barista quit their job? They were fed up with the constant grind! ?Pros and cons here we gooo!Pros:• Nice sitting area indoor and outdoor• Cool modern decor• Fast and friendly service• Perfect temperature on the coffee (not too hot or warm!)• Nice variety of pastries• Clean environment• Honey and agave nectar options as sweetener• Good selection of non-dairy milk optionsCons:• None! “GREAT place to eat!!! I would give it 6 stars if I could. Found Ram Cafe because it was close to my home in Ramtown, and am very glad that I did! Everything I have tried so far is delicious, and the menu has plenty of dietary-conscious foods, which I like. I even tried their 1/2 lb cheeseburger & fries one time on my "cheat day" and it was just superb, every bite was perfection. This is a "can't miss" kinda place if you're ever in the area!!“
“I love coming here to read or get some work done, but also love coming with my husband for breakfast or lunch. Everything from the atmosphere to the quality of food is impeccable. Have an espresso, read a book, and try one of their outstanding sandwiches. A true local treasure ♥️“
“Very cool and hip breakfast and brunch spot that really experiments with traditional favorites. The chicken and waffles provide a level of comfort that only real comfort food can provide. The brisket sandwich is flavourful, but you can end up with too much gristle. The coffee options are excellent and tasty. A hint of cinnamon or nutmeg, depending on the drink, really makes the beverage something special. Service is generally good, but some servers are more genial than others. Outdoor seating is a great option when temps climb above 60 degrees.“
“Cappuccino with caramel shot - wildly good. Had two. My coffee rating: 9.5/10. This is going to be my go-to coffee spot. Also, the chipotle sammie had one of the best chipotle sauces I've had in my life (and I'm a big self proclaimed chipotle flavor connoisseur). Brioche + soft eggs + micro greens + that chipotle sauce = coming back soon.“
“We have driven passed Capsized Cafe many times, without turning in. Talk about missing the boat! We were looking for a fresh take on breakfast, out, and when we did the Google thing...up popped this eatery.Read many of the glowing reviews and headed over to try it for ourselves. Glad we did. Coupled with great food and super pleasant staff, the atmosphere has that 1950s and '60s eclectic shore coolness.Go there! If not today then go soon.“
“I love this place. It’s a welcoming, charming environment. The staff is friendly, polite and fast. They have a cool outdoor space you can enjoy on a sunny day and sometimes listen to the music of a local musician while enjoying your food and drink. I only partake in the coffee and it’s my favorite place in town, among several good options. Keep being awesome, CC!“
“My waitress Megan was extremely pleasant and was checking up on us while we ate, which was nice as we needed a few additions to our order. The food was good and the atmosphere was relaxing for a Sunday brunchtime. I recommend this cafe and will come back again.“
“My husband and I drove up from Toms River for the Cannoli kit after experiencing it at a party . It was a Sunday and the girl behind the counter was very rude and said we don’t have any they need to be ordered a head of time , thankfully RALPH walked in and saved the day he went above and beyond to get us what we came for ! If you don’t know the lay of the store you shouldn’t be working there ! Customer service should be a priority and she certainly wasn’t willing to try helping . I will be back but hopefully someone who wants to help the customer is working!“
“Try the blueberry pancakes BECAUSE they are more than just regular pancakes with lonely blueberries on top. If you are a fool for French Toast GO HERE because their selections will make you wanna bury your face in the plate. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. Wherever you are coming from this place is worth the trip.“
“So this morning I stumbled upon this place while walking around Arnold's Marina waiting for a friend and let me say I was blown away!! I have never in my life been to such a cute little diner. It's super clean and tidy. The staff are professional and in uniform. The food and service were like a dream! I mean I felt like I had been plucked from reality and placed in a perfect diner in some fairy tale! ? I can go on and on. But that was my initial feeling about Castaways. I can't wait to get back for lunch with my wife!! Thank you Castaways!!“
“Heard all the buzz about the She Shed and had to check it out. The decor and vibe is fresh and fun, the owner and staff add to the “Good Vibes”. Then comes the food... the arugula flatbread with fig was one of the best I’ve had. The homemade rice pudding did not disappoint. Grab your friends and treat yourself to a good time! Great addition Arnold Ave .“
“My kids and I love Catsbury Park! Perfect hour of hanging out with every cat personality you can imagine. Kitties and space are clean and well-kept, and the staff is very attentive to the needs of both cats and visitors. It's a real gem.“
“A plant oasis that happens to also be a coffee shop. This place is filled with plants from every nook and cranny it has to offer. Along with all the plants they sell a bunch of other little items local places/people have made. I ordered the coco matcha and it was splendidly piping hot. It felt so warming as I drank it on this cold day. This place has pastries and toast items available to eat. I would say don't plan on trying to work or eat here. There is only one table in the front of the room and then a bench along the one wall.“
“Perfect relaxing breakfast with the family. Seated right away on a Wednesday morning. Friendly wait staff and great service. Ordered The big easy benedict and huevos rancheros, a French press, German chocolate latte and 3 different hot chocolates (for the kiddos). Everything was delicious and fresh. The price is very good if not better than most common diners in this area. The food and coffee is 1000% better too. This is our favorite breakfast place when we visit NJ. Definitely recommend.“
“How can anyone not love Rook? Between the fun branding, and delicious coffee, and punk-rock resistance to BIG COFFEE, this company is the go-to brew of the Jersey Shore.Parking: Be careful and cautious with the shared parking situation as many are grabbing and going. That said, I've never not seen a space.“
“I come here often. You will wait for a seat. You will wait for your food and it's worth it. Love the staff. The ladies the young men are marvelous. I drive far to come here. It's worth it. My coffee mug is never even halfway empty.“
“I love this place! I wish they were open earlier so I could get a juice to take to work every morning. The prices really can’t be beat and it’s so close to me. I’ve had their juices, açaí bowls, breakfast wrap and blended bowls. Everything has been really fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and helpful too, which is huge. My new favorite “
“Small clean restaurant with counter seating. I had lunch here today with my niece. I ordered the steak chimmurra taco and it was absolutely amazing. Next ime I'll order the sauce on the side though because it won't be as messy to eat if dipped. Also, the blueberry drink was superb. A bit expensive, as organic is, but worth it. I'll be back!“
“Very nice place, and worth a visit if you are in the area of Spring Lake! I enjoyed a large, hot and flavorful cup of Assam black tea. However, they have lots of coffee, sweet chai lattes, matcha, hazelnut, vanilla and other flavors of syrup for... so many good drinks to choose from in three varieties: hot, iced and frozen. Go there. There's good parking in front especially before 9am. It's friendly and people seem to bring their dogs which is fun to see. Also, lots of baby carriages and strollers with moms boosting up their caffeine to help get them through the day. Good decor reflecting the ocean with shells and driftwood, and some products for sale such as candles and napkins printed with cute sayings. Overall, it made me happy to go there. I'd love to go again!Parking: There is easy, 3-hour, free, street parking right in front of the coffee shop. It begins at 9am. You can park conveniently with no worries, especially if you are an early bird like I am. ?“
“The Royale burger was excellent & well prepared. I also got a side of their 5 cheese Mac & Cheese. The flavor was incredible and was the perfect side. The staff was super friendly and helpful on deciding what to order. Can’t wait to go back to try more on their menu.“
“The coffee was really good but the corn muffin I got was so stuck to the paper that it fell apart into pieces and was really hard to eat. It may have been a little dried out I'm not sure. The premises was clean and neat. I would come back.“
“Ordered 20 breakfast sandwiches to bring to a work party. They had them ready for me right at 6:30am and even cut them in halves (as requested) and labeled what each was. They also packed up ketchup, salt, pepper, and napkins for me to take. The sandwiches were great. Their food is always great, classic breakfast food, but this time they really went above and beyond and I appreciated it a ton.“
“Best Breakfast and best price......Vegetarian options: Outstanding service & foodDietary restrictions: They have a menu that contains many options. Go see what's available. ......Parking: More than enough room for Parking......Wheelchair accessibility: Roads are wheelchair accessible.. .“
“First time eating there today, and I ordered the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken on top. The salad was great, presentation was beautiful, and taste was awesome. I was greeted when I walked in and I was acknowledged and told to “ have a good day” when I walked out. Place is clean and has a nice setting. Will be going back“
“Wow this is a hidden gem. Great customer service. Food was amazing. The croissant is a MUST try. They warm it up and butter it perfectly. It was my first time there. I didnt know what to order. One of the waitress' recommended the Oaxaca sandwich. So I ordered Oaxaca sandwich. Best sandwich I've had thus far. Everything was perfect. This place is a must try. I'll be back. And prices were reasonable.“
“While vacationing in Point Pleasant, we chose the Beanery to meet up with a friend. We weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is "coffee-house casual" - very comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food choices are pretty varied. Our sandwiches were tasty and the meat and veggies were very fresh. The bread was delicious as were the coffee and iced tea. I wish I lived closer to drop in often. But if you're local, you should give them a try!“
“Friendliest bar in Monmouth County. Focus is on the genuine, rather than the pretty. If you care about the décor, go elsewhere. If you care about non-pretentious, friendly folks, and cheap drinks, and good, down-to-earth food, this place is tough to beat.“
“I've been here a couple times. The service is really good. The girl at the front is really nice. Prices are good. My bagel tasted like what it's supposed to. The bread is not hard it taste fresh. However it just gets crowded really fast so you have to wait a while. I will be back though.“
“This is one of our favorites, a jewel on the main drag in Manasquan. Pork roll, egg and cheese on brioche with a side of waffle fries.....c'mon, it doesn't get much better. And this is Jersey, so it's real pork roll and the Pig does it right. If you're looking for something a little more upscale, try the croque madame. It's the best grilled ham and cheese you've ever had, bathed in mornay sauce (known as fancy cheese sauce to the simpler, pork roll folk like me). But if you go that route you may want to share. And the coffee, brought to your table in a thermos, is great. Cool little place, great people and all part of the scene in downtown Manasquan - so you can walk off some of those calories after.“
“I came here with a group of co-workers for my boss's birthday, I knew very little about the restaurant, but my one co-worker said you'd been looking to try this place for a long time and we all agreed on trying a new place. There was a group of iOS and we were able to get a high top table and pull an extra seat over. We ordered at the counter and the guy was super nice and even upgraded my iced tea for me which is very nice of him. He made some recommendations on food and we had all ordered our toasts for lunch. As far as lunch goes, I would say that this was a decent option. I felt like I was full, but not stuffed. If you are a large eater I would consider getting a side. Otherwise a toast might be perfect for you. The prices for this place were also fairly reasonable and I would come here again if the opportunity presented itself.“
“I am so happy to have found such a great place to grab lunch at! They offer so many gluten free options and also understand allergies which is amazing! I work in the area and I was so hungry and wanted something easy. So I went in and got a Greek hummus wrap on GF wrap. It was amazing! I also learned they do catering and all gluten free as well. I can’t wait to go back! The wrap I had was super delicious and fresh. I can’t wait to try more food from here!Dietary restrictions: Gluten and vegan“
“Talk about a hole in the wall! Morning after a wedding what else do you want but a greasy breakfast sandwich in your belly, right? Walking around, we saw a sign "Wall Street Cafe 16 steps down the alley" and, what do you know? There was a little door with a tiny sign and only a few indications we found what we were looking for. This one room cafe, that you really don't even walk into, was quite the find. A woman was there when we opened the door, asked what we'd like and proceeded to whip up two delicious bacon egg and cheeses. 15 minutes and $15 later, we had our sandwiches. They were a little pricier than I would have guessed but it was honestly one of the best BEC I've had in awhile. Lots of cheese and a perfectly cooked egg to make the entire sandwich nice a gooey. Trying to find the cafe? Well, just look for the sign on the street. And then look for the door with a table outside filled with odds and ends for sale. Make sure you have cash and you are okay with taking these sandwiches to the beach or on a walk since there is just one table. Sometimes the tiny little spots turn out to be the best gems. Worth trying if you want a classic breakfast sandwich on the go.“
“Okay the gelato and tuna salad/panini is to die for here. Great coffee too.The rustic European atmosphere is top notch, great friendly service and generally fun environment to hang out in. There is good music on all the time and a TV playing classic movies. I am not a big drinker but the Whiskey Sour (Gold Rush) is my favorite in town.“
“Been coming here for years happy to see them still going strong. Friendly staff and plenty of seating, the parking lot can fill up quick. Fresh baked items and a standard menu, there's something for everyone. Bagels are covered in toppings and the porkroll egg and cheese will knock your socks off. Fresh ingredients and super filling, Bagel Basket is a must stop when I'm in the area“
“hands down my favorite coffee shop. The two girls behind the counter are so friendly and seem to know every customers order by heart. The coffee is always delicious and the service is always quick; everything served with a smile! i’d give more than five stars to this store and their staff!“
“I've been coming to this spot for years. The food is consistently good and the waitstaff has always been friendly. Coffee is great too and I am a bit of a coffee snob. I love their vanilla latte. Cozy on the inside and nice location on Cookman. Red Bank location is wonderful also- different vibe inside but food just as good.“
“Great place to visit if you in need of some quick food, fast service, with friendly employees, really cant go wrong with anything on the menu, from the bagels to the sandwiches everything is just right ! been going there for years and its not going to stop now !!!“
“ordered delivery - i got an order of tuna (medium) in a spring roll summer wrap. WOW! what a delicious meal, im still thinking about it. there's not one complaint i could think of, it traveled so well and was so fresh when it was delivered.“
“This is my favorite restaurant I have ever been to.The young waitress does a fantastic job! The restaurant gets extremely busy but I don't mind the wait (25 mins is honestly nothing for how good the food is). I have absolutely no complains about the restaurant.I am definitely happy they have choose good waitstaff. I enjoy each one of them when I come in. Keep up the good work guys!!!“
“Small quaint diner on the corner with 6 booths, 6 tables, and 6 barstools. Service was fast, and portions were large. 3 chicken tenders on a large Belgian waffle and lox hollandaise with 2 hashbrowns couldn't be finished by my wife and I. Food was fresh and great, coffee bottomless and menu robust. $36 including tip.Vegetarian options: Omelets, sandwiches and moreParking: May have to check side streetsKid-friendliness: Kids were there when we went“
“First & foremost I’d like to thank the trust worthy staff who found my wallet after having brunch this Sunday at this location. After reaching out via Instagram the gentleman was kind enough to go out his way on a holiday weekend, while the store was Already shut to return my wallet to me.I offered to tip him but he immediately denied which represents the character of this business. Not only amazing food, but when you can Trust the staff to that’s another bonus!“
“Boardwalk Coffee is a gem hidden just off Pier Village. Yes, it's attached to the resort, but the vibe is very much a trendy coffee shop. And the food and coffee are considerably better than some of it's chain-brand neighbors. And if you're in the area at night, they run special events through the coffee shop. Check them out!“
“So good I love all their different flavors. You can get any kind of coffee, almond milk, oat, milk, skim milk, latte espresso. Even their assortment of teas is grand definitely come here you will not be disappointed. Excellent excellent excellent.“
“Great little coffee shop on Main Street in Bradley Beach. It can be easy to miss between the hustle and bustle of the brewery and breakfast restaurant next-door but keep an eye out for Paired. I stopped in on a Saturday morning just for some coffee and the folks behind the counter were pretty busy, but the service was fast and very friendly. I am more of a classic ice coffee person and they serve cold brew but that wasn't enough for me to knock off a star. A little on the pricier side but it is understandable because I ordered a cold brew and the location. So make your way to Bradley Beach and grab some coffee and snacks from this great new place.“
