Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

“Tacowala is a really great option for large events. Amish was incredibly welcoming and helpful in helping us choose how much and what to order for my guests. We fed 40+ people with the tacowala catering event, it was all correct and greatly organized. “One of the best brunch spots around. From the thick cut bacon to the fluffy pancakes there’s nothing you won’t like. Went for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back twice. I have yet to be disappointed by anything off the menu. Their Tres Leches French toast comes drizzled with Maple syrup, two scoops of whipped cream and loaded with blueberries and strawberries. A perfect sweet treat. The winner for me is the coconut guava cream pancakes. These are fluffy creamy and perfectly sweet. I can’t say enough about their pancakes plus I’m a sucker for guava. Their omelet is delicious and filling. The Hot Honey chicken & waffles will leave you stuffed. The sweet waffle and savory fried chicken is the perfect mix. And finally to discuss my favorite dish, the huevos Rancheros. This is hands down the best huevos rancheros I’ve had. Their chorizo is so packed with flavor and spice it makes the dish. This dish couldn’t be any more complete with its combination of chorizo, shrimp and cooling guacamole plus the two sunny side up runny eggs on top of two crispy tortillas. Highly recommend this place but warned there is a wait so be sure to make a reservation if you’re not a fan of waiting“

“Stopped off after visiting our daughter at college was greated and seated immediately. Our hostess/server was helpful and attentive! We ordered massaman curry and pad lard nar both with chicken. Was offered lunch or dinner portion we chose lunch. Loved the peanut salad that came with our meal. The portions were awesome and yummy. I had level 3 spice on curry and it was perfect. Only regret is we wished we lived closer! Highly recommend especially if you are local!“

“Tender Lovin' Grill is a great spot with a variety of dishes available! Food: I got a 3 piece tender combo that came with a side and a drink. My wife got a cilantro burrito (not pictured) that she really enjoyed. I really liked the Mac and cheese. It tasted more like pasta with a homemade cream sauce than a traditional Mac and cheese but it was very good. The chicken tenders were huge and perfectly cooked. As you can see in the picture, really juicy. Only reason for 1 star off is that the breading could've used more seasoning. Ambiance: TLG is more of a casual spot with a few tables inside if you're grabbing a quick bite. Overall, good experience and will be back to try more!“

The owners, Jane and Steve, are community minded shop owners who serve up the best ice cream treats. “It was a packed house on a Friday night dinner time. Luckily, it was just my husband and I, so we got a table right away. The place has nice decorations and it is also a clean place. Combo (Fried Calamari and Shrimp) - The calamari and shrimp were cooked perfectly. It wasn't over-battered, and it was lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. Went well with the sauce. Roti Canai - I would say it wasn't that great at all, and I love Roti Canai, but this wasn't it. Malaysian style pancake were not crispy at all. Husband says he felt it was undercooked. The curry itself was very liquidy. The potatoes were good. When you dip the pancake into the curry. It would dip everything down, meaning you don't get that curry on to the pancake. So you have to use the spoon to get the curry and eat it like soup. Gang Kiew Wan with Squid - Green curry was a great pick. The squid is cooked perfectly. It was soft and easy to chew. I love the veggies, and they were delicious. Duck Noodles - It's great and very flavorful. Wish they would add a little bit more of the shredded duck meat. I felt there wasn't much to it. (This dish reminds me of Beef Chow Fun.) Overall, from the beginning to the end, even though it was a packed house, the services were great. They made sure the water on the table didn't go empty. They checked on us to see how everything was. I had to take off the one star because I wish their Roti Canai was better. But I am planning to go back here again to try other dishes.“

I was in their establishment for maybe an hour and I witnessed at least 20 people come in to pick up take out orders. In my opinion, that speaks on the quality of food. The fried pork dumplings are flavorful, the pork egg roll is as big as the plate it's served on. The pepper steak was tender and sauced well with a ton of peppers and onions. The rice was good and fluffy. The service was good, even though there appears to be one server for the 4 tables that were seated. I wish they would have spread out the tables a little bit because we were seated right in the middle and it was a little noisy. The ice cold water was good and always refilled without asking. It was an hour drive but in my opinion, it was well worth it and delicious. I would take the adventure again to try something new. “Excellent Spanish cuisine restaurant. To be clear, this is not your trendy tapas restaurant, it's more of a full fare place. The food is really good, well presented, the service is excellent. We were treated like kings, with the owner chatting us up when he learned we came from all over and that it was my birthday. There was no live music when we visited and we'll have to come back to check that out. The dining area atmosphere does feel a bit old, not really trendy, especially given the "older patronage" that seemed to be prevalent. But don't let that stop you from enjoying rare Spanish cuisine.“
