The chicken wings were cooked exactly how we wanted. Crispy! A little bit of seasoning would have made this top notch. The ambiance was a bit dark and cold but there wasn't a lot of people to fill the room and that may have been why. A nice pho spot in brick of all places. Great spot!

The pad Thai worse I ever had so grease. My friend offer me one of her spring rolls saturated in oil, whatever was inside tasted old and funky. The whole meal experience was terrible. The guy that posted about the shrimps not being devein is correct. Went here because I read the reviews and most people said it was good. Been to another Vietnamese restaurant here in TR that was excellent compared to this place in Brick. Will definitely never go back here again. Wish I would have taken pictures of food to show everyone. I just saw your response to my review. You're making seem that this review was written because of the No byob not true for I do not drink. Yes, my friend did bring her own bottle. You're a liar about me eating 3/4 of my meal. I ate 1/4 of it, trying to like it but couldn't. That terrible amber sauce that you claim it was, to me it was disgusting oil taste. Stuck in my throat the whole night. I have eaten this dish at Asian fusion restaurant and loved it. If this is not a Vietnamese dish, it shouldn't be on your menu because you don't know how to make it. I have eaten in many Vietnamese restaurants in the city, and in California and here in toms River yours has been by far the worst. Your such a liar again, we were your only customers. If I had just tried, my pad Thai and was not happy with it you could offer me something else, but you didn't. You are a nasty nasty person, you're in the wrong business. I really wanted to love this place, but after being let down for a third time, we won't be back. The 3 stars is for their staff because they're sooo nice and their customer service is always above and beyond. Especially the young woman who takes the orders. The food, on the other hand is lacking. We didn't think the broth was not flavorful, especially for vietnamese cuisine. It was so bland that we had to add ALL the fixins just to create semblance of flavor. The veggie mix that comes withe pho dishes, is odd. Cauliflower and celery?! It completely throws off the balance of the pho in our opinion. The spring rolls are meh, and very thin and flimsy. My gf got a rice dish that she also said was bland and her veggies were undercooked on 2 serperate occasions. We just moved to Brick, so we were excited to find vietnamese food so close and that offers delivery, but we were very disappointed. We'll just continue to take the trip to Pho Viet in Toms River.

.... just like others have said steer clear of this place. Vietnam POWs got more food in the Hanoi hotel than this restaurant Absolutely ridiculous! The pho broth taste like dirty bath water steeped in fennel... horrible you've been warned. After calling back, the staff could care less... completely indifferent. IMO it's restaurants like these that don't last long before they're kicked out of town.....

We have been customers for many years. This family-owned place is like coming home for dinner - comfort food at its best. Nothing better than a hot steaming bowl of pho to soothe your soul! If you’re new to Vietnamese food, get the classic pho and the grilled pork chop dish with rice. I have never met anyone who didn’t immediately love these two dishes, which they absolutely nail. Best Vietnamese in ocean county!
