My partner and I attended a 60th Birthday celebration here yesterday, 4/14/2024, for an old and dear friend of mine. The entire experience was over the top. The moment my partner and I sat down a waiter was at our service, asking if we would care for something to drink. The appetizers, salad course and main course were all amazing, as was the service. The birthday cake and coffee were superb. If I lived close to Via Veneto I would definitely return there. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was a nice place, but food could have been better. Serving size smaller than usual. Service is very slow. I just didn't care for the entire atmosphere. Extremely casual, It felt like a VFW hall.

BYOB and the food is always fantastic. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s always a favorite.

Although the food was decent, their prices were way out of hand. If you're paying $30.00 for a Veal Parmesan dinner do you really need to charge $4.00 for a pasta side? Two people, two dinners, appetizer, 1 desert $97.00. No thank you. Manhattan and Prime steakhouse prices, for mediocre food in my opinion.

It was ok .. wayyyyyyy to overpriced for portion size. This is the only Italian restaurant I've ever been to where a meal doesn't come with a SIDE (you have to pay extra for pasta) or a salad. I would understand the a la cart approach if meals weren't in the high $30s but found this to be ridiculous. Meal was ok but nothing special.

I've gone here several times and always think it's going to be better. The nature day, which I think is the owner is not very friendly, never has a smile. It takes forever even when they're slow for a waiter to come to your table. I had to ask a busboy to open our bottle of wine. I have been there when it was very busy and the owner that normally chips in to do anything to help. Just sat and talked to customers or friends whatever they were. I don't really like the atmosphere, it's just one table on top of the other. Nothing romantic or warm about the place. I have had a few good dishes here but for the most part I don't know if it's what I order but the food is not that great. There's nothing cheap about the place. I think 26 for pasta dish with eggplant is a little overpriced. $40 for pork chop is just over the top. If the food was really good, I don't care how much it costs but the taste of the food does not match the prices.

So upset and disappointed!! We went to dinner last night there and took people who have never been, telling them how wonderful it was!! To start the service was slow and they forgot to put in some of our appetizers. Then we went on to dinner and I ordered the flounder Francese it was mushy and very very fishy. Not edible at all. The other meals were mediocre at best no one was happy. Then it came time to the desert which we were looking forward to to be told they had none left. Mind you we went fairly early on a Friday night 7pm. Who does not have enough deserts especially on a Friday night. They did nothing to accommodate us and the bill was not cheap by any means. I do not like inconsistencies in a restaurant. That shows the restaurant it really not a great restaurant. Hence none of us will be back!! It’s really a shame!!

We have been to Via Véneto several times. We met friends for dinner this weekend and it continues to be consistent in the quality and value. There are no pictures in this review because I actually put my phone away! The service was paced perfectly and we did not feel rushed even though it was a full house. The ambiance is old world Italian. The walls in one dining room are painted to make it look like beige stucco of a building. The fried calamari was light and tender. The sausage of the sausage and broccolini snapped when bitten into and had nice chucks of garlic. The salad special, arugula, apples and goat cheese left me wanting more. I really enjoyed the dressing. The Veal Rossini had three big pieces of veal and was tender. The veal special was stuffed with eggplant, artichokes and other goodness was equally tasty. Desert included the lemon cake and ricotta cheesecake and was a perfect ending to our meal.

First time there. 2 things to know...it's a BYOB and Make Reservations!!! Now, the service was excellent, friendly and can spout off the specials without missing a beat. Explained everything and able to answer any menu questions. As for the food...it was out of this world. I had the Chicken Provencal (?) It was a special. And it was very special, tender and flavorful. We also ordered the tripe appetizer, bean & escarole soup, rack of lamb, special eggplant dish, and chicken parm. Everything done to perfection. So good. Dessert was Lemoncello cake and a Bomba (mango and passion fruit gellato in a hard white chocolate shell). Well, I died and went to heaven. I could not have asked for a better meal. And the coffee, brewed to perfection. I will tell you, it is very expensive, at least more than I'm used to. But it's worth every penny for a special occasion or a night out once in a while. Glad I got a doggie bag so I can enjoy their food one more time.

It’s a byob place. Went there with my friend last night but overpriced. $30 for a piece of chicken parm and does not come with a salad or pasta. Just a rip off!!!
