I wish I had taken pictures before we ate but we smashed. ? the food was soooooo freakin good. It beyond exceeded any of my expectations ????????. The catfish nuggets were fire ?. The crabcakes were nice and soft, way better than any I'd had. The chicken wings were delicious ?. Mac n cheese was perfect. Sweet potatoes? Divine. I wish I had ordered my own!!! Seriously, perfection!!!! My onion rings were so delicious. I'm 5mos pregnant and my baby was kickin up a storm lol. Been in the next county for almost 5yrs now and I wish we'd discovered this place then!!! Imma be back. Thank you Latoya!!!!!! ?????

I really love the food I love the taste of the food the food was hot and fresh when I got it I got the whitings fish with the macaroni and cheese and potato salad and potato salad is wonderful I love to taste the texture of the potato salad sweet potatoes was good too I love the taste and texture of the sweet potatoes the owners of the business was so polite it was very nice to me and they just delivered my food I will recommend for people to go there if you're looking for a good Soul Food place to eat at support our local businesses help them out because they make really good food in order to keep them here and to keep getting this delicious food so their support them help them out I surely will be going back there again keep up the good work please are you will be back to get some more of the delicious food

Love love love this place. Latoya is so friendly and kind and a wonderful cook. She was all alone manning the whole kitchen. I could see the pride she put in her cooking and I can 100% taste the love.. I will def be back worth every penny.

My experience was amazing, although the food took a little longer then usual everything was freshly cook and seasoned welled , there was a lady complaining when I was there because she thought everything was precooked and she was rushing to get home and upset that her husband was fascinated by the women working , the owner did politely explained to her that everything is cooked after it is placed. I feel as thought if she was in a rush she should’ve went to McDonald’s and not a soul food spot with fresh food .I will be back for more freshly cooked food . Thank you so much
Horrible experience!!First was told the food would only take 20-25 minutes , mind you after a In depth convo with the owner of how we had kids waiting and was in a hurry . After 45 min past I went in again , to be told rudely by the daughter that it was coming and was asked if I cook chicken , and after I replied yes “ that it doesn’t take over a hour ....I was now getting eye rolls and the owner arguing with me, Why they are slow !I asked if it was ready I would take what was and leave ! The daughter now is yelling at me , and told me “What your just gonna walk out and not pay us “ I had already paid $70 plus a hour ago and was only asking for a refund for the chicken which was supposed to been the only item we was waiting for. Now watching the clock , it’s been another 5 min and the owner is directing the daughter to make a cheesesteak platter we ordered!So now I’m upset I’m being lied too.I address the issue and the daughter runs up to the counter to get in my face and tell me not to get smart with her mom!The mother actually had to get between us , and curse her out to stand down. This was not the half , I waited as a nice person a hour and 10 mins to have a child tell me the Mac and cheese was horrible ! So I tasted the last platter made , since all the rest was bagged up. I am almost 100 they poured a ton of salt on my child’s food. I tasted the green beans and they was loaded with salt ! I was so upset I couldn’t even think straight. What person - what business acts in this manner ! You should be ashamed of how you treated us !!And to add the chicken was seasoned with only some Savon , it had no flavor !The catfish was salty and fishy ... the only thing not Soul food that was good was the darn Cher steak ! Smh.My opinion they need more truthful reviews !
