I NEVER do this but felt after what happened it’s necessary. A friend and I show up at 7:20pm and I’ve been craving a sandwich all day from there. We were ordering 4 sandwiches total and because they close at 8pm they had already cleaned the grill. That’s a 40 minute window. We were only able to order one sandwich. You close at 8pm. If you shut the grill down 40 minutes in advance you should make people aware because we drove a while to get there. Your food is amazing and you’re probably one of my favorite restaurants but to lose business because your employees want to leave exactly at 8pm is ridiculous.

I recently visited Bagelati for the first time. I ordered a bagel tray online for an event. The tray was ready at pickup time and everyone had nothing but great things to say about the taste and freshness. The cream cheeses were also delicious. I got regular, garlic herb, and vegetable varieties. I do wish there was an everything bagel gluten free option, as I have a gluten sensitivity, but what they do, they do it right!

I really try hard not to give a negative review, so that way when I do give them, hopefully they have more impact. Today I forgot my breakfast at work and, because I had to order enough to get it delivered, I added a fruit cup to my order. I thought it was pretty expensive, but the picture that they had, which looked like a real picture and not a stylized one, made it look like it was a lot of fruit so I bit the bullet and ordered it. The bagel was excellent so I can’t fault them there, but to get such a paltry amount AND assortment of fruit for eight dollars is really not right.

UPDATE: The situation has been resolved and quickly at that!!!!! It’s great to see a business care enough to reach out so quickly!!!!!!I am blown away!!! I’ve never posted a bad review but after being hung up on by whoever answered the phone and ordering through GrubHub and receiving an un-toasted bagel over 8 times, I’m frustrated. The bagel that I received today was so over toasted it is barely edible, and the person I was speaking with a sweet sounding young lady, decided to hang up on me, instead of listening to my complaint. I didn’t think it was too much to ask for to have a toasted bagel, sesame seed, so I prefer it toasted because it toasts the sesame seeds, what I received again was barely edible, and all I got from the sweet person I spoke with, was excuses why my bagel was black instead of toasted as I asked for it. Unfortunately, I just won’t order from here anymore because I don’t think my request was unreasonable, apparently it was. So disappointing because I adore the bagels and the whitefish salad from here but I cannot stand by bad customer service. Picture of my “toasted” bagel is posted below. I did not request it to be extra toasted but just toasted, it wasn’t toasted, it’s burnt as you can see in the picture.

I was looking forward to going to this place for the first time. I thought I would try two of my favorite bagels. I got an everything bagel and I got a raisin bagel. You look at the photo below. You will see that it is a bagel maybe cinnamon but they forgot the raisins, my everything bagel was very good. The name will have to be changed from everything and half plain bagel only the top of the bagel had the everything ingredients it was good, but I kind of wanted to have the bottom too. I guess I will have to wait until I go to Somers point to a bagel shop called hot bagels and more. I realize going there I have become very spoiled with bagels.

I went there for a morning bagel. I was impressed that they had a wide variety to choose from. The place was very crowded and loud, at around 8 am, but the line moved at an acceptable pace. I decided to forgo coffee and grab a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. I grabbed a bagel sandwich for my sister. It had egg and cheese and some sort of meat (I don't remember ). She loved her sandwich and I enjoyed my bagel. I'm not an egg person, but if you enjoy bagel sandwiches that have eggs, I think you'd like the variety of sandwiches and toppings. I did wait for almost 15 minutes for my order, but due to how packed and crazy it was, I was ok with it, especially since they got my order right.

This was my first time here and omg it’s soo good. I don’t drink coffee so I get hot chocolate everywhere I go and it’s always a hit or miss, but this was delicious. I got it with oat milk and salted caramel. I also got a turkey, egg and cheese on a toasted bagel and baklava. Everything exceeded expectations :)
