Authentic Mexican restaurant. The ambiance is tipico for this type of restaurant which is, imho, what makes this place special. And their jugos (home made fruit drinks-non-alcoholic) are out of this world. And if you cannot find what you want on the menu, ask them. Chances are, they will accommodate.

I've been coming here a long time. The owner used to be very nice to customers. Now he's very rude and talks down to customers. He always seems annoyed. Maybe he needs to step away from this business and let his wife and sons run it. They are very sweet.

We live 2 1/2hrs from Bridgeton. We were in the area visiting our grandson. We wanted Barria Tacos b4 we got on the rd. We Googled Barria tacos. And this place was at the top of the list. After reading a few reviews. We decided to go check this place out. I highly recommend this place. For authentic made to order delicious food. Service was 2 thumbs up. The place was welcoming. A little disappointed there were no chicken tamales for my youngest son. He got chicken tacos instead. Also ordered garlic shrimp (garlic sauce was very delicious) with refried beans, rice & avocado slices. Thank you for delicious food. We definitely will return to try other dishes. ??**I didn't take aby pictures of the food to show. We were too hungry**

Fantastic find! Incredible, authentic Mexican food. Owners/employees were so pleasant. Definitely recommend this restaurant and especially the Tostafas de Cebiche. Place is cash only, so be prepared for that.

Went to Tio on Sat 4/1/23, as it is a new addition at Christiana Mall, in hope to have a nice Mexican meal, but was very disappointed by the flavor of food. Absolutely they should not call this a Mexican restaurant at all. Everything was bland. Ordered Mexican street corn on cob, all it had was cheese, nothing else. Ordered. Burrito with Cauhilo Chicken for myself and it was Absolutely Horrifically BLAND. Had the same black beans inside which is Hroifically Bland. My wife ordered a Cauhilo Chicken Bowl and it was same as well. Only the drink I ordered of Grilled Pineapple was good (Not Great), I liked it as I like smoky Scotch or Bourbon.Honestly, they should not claim this as a Mexican restaurant with flavors like this. It's an insult toexican cuisine.Vegetarian options: YesParking: Mall ParkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Finally, a place that serves great authentic Mexican food! As a new resident, trying so many places in the area.I'm happy to have found great food and service.Vegetarian options: Enjoyed a plate of rice and refried beans with a side of guacamole and chip. So good and flavorful!Parking: About 8-10 spots in front restaurant. One way in one way out. Traffic at certain times can make it difficult to get in or out.

Stopped in to order some tacos. The guy taking orders was very angry and rude he first asked 3x if we called ahead and we said no. I ordered 2 tacos de bistek, 2 tacos de pollo, & 2 tacos de Al pastor sin cebolla. He got mad that I said no onions on the pork tacos and scribbled it out saying he had to redo the whole thing, because he was too incompetent to just write no onions next to the last one. I then asked for sour crema on the side and he snapped saying they don’t come with sour cream but I can get it on the side. I said that’s exactly what I said I wanted and he huffed And said the wait might be really long that he didn’t know how many orders there were in attempt to dissuade us from continuing the purchase. I almost wanted to say forget it and walk out but didn’t since my friend is hungry and we’re short on time. He clearly didn’t want our business I won’t be back. Edit: The lady that brought the food out was very nice though.
