Just another wanna be Shake Shack. Mostly flavorless. Overpriced for the quality. If you are ever in Long Island City, try Petey's Burgers. Kids loved the playground.

I don't usually write reviews but after last nights meal from here I felt I needed to. We have been eating food from here since it opened, when the prices were fair and the food was better. The burgers were tasty, the onion rings were great and the milkshakes were $5 and fantastic. Who wouldn't have a super thick milkshake for $5? The prices have gone consistently up and the quality of the food has gone consistently down. The meal we had last night was obviously frozen burger patties, I couldn't even finish mine, it was disgusting, like eating a hockey puck. The onion rings are not the same as the original and obviously frozen as well and way overpriced. The milkshakes are now $7 AND they had the nerve to actually charge me (an additional $0.50) for the whipped cream and cherry when that was always free on the milkshake. With 2 kids it was a nice step up from McDonalds, the kids could play for a bit outside to tire themselves out, and we could have a decent meal for a reasonable price, not any more. This is OFF my list for burgers that's for sure. I guess they need to cut corners here in order to open another steakhouse, sure hope the quality there hasn't fallen this far.

Great place, great food, amazing iced cream! but the kids behind the counter and in the kitchen need hair nets and gloves...

Food was decent, milk shake was a little watery but not bad. the service was good. Loved the atmosphere. The park for the kids. Great place to stop by and let the kiddies get some energy out and stretch your legs.

I ordered the cookie monster milkshake and tator tots. It was good! I'm hoping to go back and try the burgers next when I am in the area again.

Food was very good. Couldn't hear the orders being called from the seating area, so our food sat for a while. Playground was great for the kids - they were able to burn off some steam after their meal. Will be back again.

Don't waste your money- the onion burger, bacon burger and spicy chicken sandwich we less then desirable. Not impressed with the onion rings either- if your looking for salty, greasy and disgusting ? this is your place

Burger is dry and too salty. I wanted to like it but I can't recommend this place when Five Guys and Shake Shack are better. And it's a shame because this is not a chain and the atmosphere itself is nice.

Love the burgers and onion rings

For the price you pay for just the burger no drink or side you would expect it to be fuller. 1/4lb burger for $10 is just not worth it to me. Very light on toppings. There are better places to get a burger from. Also the nuggets are not worth the price at all.

Do not eat here, you’ll get more for your money somewhere else. Visited here yesterday and was not impressed. Everything is overpriced for the portion you’re served, anything additional, toppings added to the burgers (toppings), whipped cream and cherries for milkshakes were an additional charge. In my opinion those should be included in the cost. How do you justify an up charge of .25c each for a small piece of lettuce, another .25c for 2 thin slices of tomato, another .25c for 2 tiny pickles and even .25c for whipped cream and .25c for a cherry were additional charges. Sides are not offered with burgers and chicken sandwiches or kid’s meals. The hot dog was mediocre at best, and for $4.99 I expected more than a regular size, thin hot dog. Milkshake sizes are also too small for the cost of $6.99, and the consistency was not that of a thick milkshake but was very runny and watery. I don’t think we’ll be eating here again.

I have had a burger at the Char restaurant in Red Bank and been quite pleased. Imagine my disappointment at the quality of burger at Char Burger . The dry patty was overcooked and over salted. The onion rings were hard and lacked onion. The young lady at the counter seem very nice, and the ambience was delightful. However, I came for the food, and that was not very good.
