The outside of this restaurant looks like an old house, standalone and not in a strip mall. Inside also shows age, looks like from the 80’s. Very outdated. Definitely a traditional family style Chinese restaurant. Menu is very impressive, lots to choose from. Food is average, had better. Felt a lot of MSG, beef from stew was bit dry, overheated. Quality of rice ? is low grade.

Good food but shockingly awful service. They take a take out order then fail to get it right one time, then the next time cancel without telling you. You call up and they are beyond rude. Shout down the phone - dreadful

Amazing Chinese food with incredibly authentic taste and presentation. The fresh bean curds were an amazing starter, and all the vegetables were perfectly cooked. We got the whole fish in bean sauce that was so flavourful and had amazing texture. Very reasonable portions, we left stuffed and feeling great! Truly a shining jewel of New Jersey

The food is worth the gross atmosphere and mid service. Come with a big group and eat family style so you try a bunch of different dishes. The green beans are great, as is the fried rice but you can’t go wrong with pretty much anything.

This restaurant feels like an old friend every visit! Plus the kitchen is fast at filling orders. Extensive menu choices are good for varied people especially groups! And they can suggest dishes if you want advice before making your final choices.Vegetarian options: Many tofu based dishes and spicy hot vegetable mixes too! Bok choy and steamed mushrooms are my favorite... They also make the hot and sour soup vegetarian for me! Dry tofu and chilli oil is consistently delicious. Tofu home style was always a good treat.Parking: Best large lot that never fills up to capacity because seating inside provides options for larger groups together while allowing plenty of space for parties of two or four as well.

Ordered food for delivery from their website at 5:45 today (Nov 27) and got an email confirming delivery by 6:45pm. 7pm rolls around no delivery so we call them. They ask for the order - then they tell us they didn't make the damn food because they didn't have a driver but didn't call us. The man on the phone when we called even said "I should have called you!" before offering to cancel. I've got 2 hungry kids and a pregnant wife who got food at 8 as we looked elsewhere (gonna go even further and reccomend Great Wall Kitchen for better service and better food) We love the food here and its stellar but this is BEYOND outrageous
