I have dined in here a few times, and recently picked up take out. The food is decent! The pizza was a nice surprise as it was well done and tasty. The chicken parm I was hesitant to order based on mixed reviews....it was not bad, but typical chicken parm is crispy pan fried chicken cutlets/breasts and these are clearly not pan fried or deep fried - it definitely seems just baked, so that's not my ideal but it didn't taste BAD. The muscles in white sauce had good reviews and were just okay in my opinion although they did provide a TON of them and overall great portions.

Great service and drinks at the bar. But after we sat down, we found the food quite average. Among the things we ordered, the chicken parm was ok, the mussels were not very good, and the pasta was a bit overcooked. There aren’t a ton of options in town but in spite of some of the disappointments, this is better than some of the other options.

on November 11, 2023 we placed an order for delivery. The girl taking our phone order was delightful. i met the delivery guy outside bc my husband gave the wrong condo number. He was also very pleasant and we tipped him accordingly. After my husband plated the Chicken Parm dinner, I was very happy with the amount of food. Great for the price. HOWEVER, after taking a bite, that all changed. The chicken tasted like it was rolled in a flour mixture but was not fried. It must have been baked bc meat was cooked but tasted like paste covered cardboard. It ONLY tasted of flour to me. Even the sauce had no flavor and the spaghetti was definitely box pasta. I pushed it away after two bites and we threw it away. We debated calling and complaining, but we never do that, but after watching a movie I decided to. I was transferred to Andre who immediately got his back up. No, "I am sorry to hear you were not happy with your meal." or "How can we make it better?" All he said was "why didn't you call us right away? " and "No one else complained about the food tonight." as if this explained everything! He wanted to know why I threw it out instead of bringing it back to the restaurant (bc it was a windy, cold night at the beach and I didn't want to go out in the first plac, hence delivery.). He then said the manager would call me the next day - which she did not. I was so peeved from that phone call, that I never followed up. $30 down the drain, but lesson learned

This past weekend we where in Brigantine New Jersey .It's a beach town by the water .It's very nice area and the people who live and work there are friendly . It's over the bridge from Atlantic City .Andres Wine & Bar restaurant is a good place to have a meal .You can have anything from a slice of pizza. To what ever is on there menu .We both had veal parmesan .My girlfriend had a glass of wineI had a beer . The food was Very good . Couldn't ask for anything better . For desert we had a peace of Chocolate cake .Owe waitresses was very nice .In the future we will be visiting Brigantine again .And going back to Andre'srestaurant .

We come to Brigantine yearly. Andre’s is a lovely restaurant & wine bar. We were there the week of Oct.13-20. We stopped in Sunday the 15th for drinks and their delicious mussels. Which by the way are the best. But was disappointed we went to eat there on Monday the 16th and no one was there. The place was closed but supposedly they should have opened at 4 pm. When we got there it was closed. We tried again Tuesday- Thursday also closed. No signs stating closed for the week. We left back home disappointed that we couldn’t have dinner there due to the fact they were closed. Andre’s and staff should have placed a sign stating closed for the week on the doors. We will try again next year since we stay at La Sammana yearly.
