The restaurant packed our food to go and the amount of food that was given to us was not worth the price. We were expecting to feed a family of 11 and it was only good for a family of 6. In addition, there was no taste to our food. Overall, we were disappointed.

One thing we miss very much in NJ was their broad culture of restaurants. Philippine cooking was easy to find, and not only in our kitchen. If you kive in the Caldwell area or visiting you should try out Asin. Family owned and just great food. Can't wait for our next NJ visit as we wil make this a must. Try it and truat me you will tell everyone you know who's a foodie!!!!

We stopped in to get takeout on our way back to Brooklyn. The owner was just lovely and accommodating. My boyfriend has to eat low salt and she was very helpful to prepare some dishes that he could eat. The food was quite delicious even after it took a couple of hours to get it home. Definitely want to come back and eat at the restaurant! My favorite dish was to be Bicol Express and Bami noodles! The only odd thing was I didn't see any actual shrimp in the shrimp noodles that we got. But they were tasty!

A different and delicious take on Filipino cuisine. The presentation on every dish wish creative and thoughtful. The food tasted beyond amazing especially the grilled squid! Most importantly, the owner was very accommodating and friendly. Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner!!!

I have been anywhere in the States visiting Filipino restaurants and nothing was close to Susie’s Grocery & Deli in TX than Asin here in NJ! They are both my favorites in their own way! The food was delicious! The restaurant was clean and the lady was very nice! It’s also a kid friendly restaurant. My kids loved and enjoyed the food so much they couldn’t stop complimenting everything lol! I must say the food is worth the price!.❤️ There was just a little misunderstanding with the bill but the lady was super kind, respectful, and patient to explain and help me understand on the phone! I will be back with my family again soon! ❤️❤️?

As a half Filipino who has lived in the Philippines and goes there frequently... I LOVED Asin! The food was incredible, prices are reasonable and the they had so many options. Adobo, halo halo, turon, pancit.. everything was amazing! I brought a few friends who had never had Filipino food and they all loved it! Highly recommend if you love good food!

This place is so cute and has such delicious food. We had the Lumpia, Adobo, steamed bokchoy, Kare Kare (shrimp paste is served on the side) garlic rice, Halo Halo, and Fiesta dessert. Everything was authentic and the server was so informative. Please come support this small local business! Oh and bonus:instrumental Disney music in the background.

For 16$ , for one philipinotraditional dish, with noodles and realty couple of chicken peace’s is not worth it!!! No wonder it’s empty!! When ordered lady told me it’s good for 2 or 3 people! It’s regural Thai or Chinese take out!!! For almost Half price!!!

We've been here twice already. Once for their normal menu items and a second time for their traditional Filipino meal. Both times were amazing. Great food, reasonable prices, and extremely awesome service from the owner. This is one of the most authentic Filipino restaurants I've been too. Highly recommend it for anyone looking amazing food.

My brother and I got to try the pork sisig, crispy pata, chicken bbq, and halo halo. All of which were delicious. In addition, the owner was super friendly. Needless to say, I'll be returning again with more people!

Nice restaurant with quite a few Filipino dishes to try. We had the menudo and the beef with rice and egg, and the tofu / Shanghai appetizers. Overall everything was delicious we gave them a four because the portions run on the smaller side for the price compared to other Filipino restaurants.

Very good food and fast service.

Authentic and fresh Filipino food in a nice setting, which for some reason, is hard to find. We tried many dishes and there was not one that we disliked. The owner/chef was so friendly and professional. The staff is masked to ensure the safety of its patrons. Please show your support and go here!
