Grandmas Pizza to go is the best! I bring it on road trips out of state when visiting friends in Central PA. Market case is brimming with a good variety go food by h the pound. Service is really good and Everything is freshly made in house.

Max's Market and Eatery has excellent service and great food! We order pizza from them just about every other week. Thier pizza with cherry hot peppers is our favorite! I would highly recommend this restuarant and defintely try their pizza!

Followed them on TikTok and finally made it out to this smaller restaurant/quasi-deli. Food was top-notch. Felt bad for a young server that had to deal with some entitled customers. Still, this place handles such quite professionally.Loved the operatic version of "Despacito" that was played as background music, too.So, great place to eat and worth the trip out to Califon for it.

Ooo my goodness such a delicious meal tonight! Short ribs were tender, tasty and very enjoyable. The mashed potatoes perfection! But the best was the dessert we brought home, cannoli cheesecake! Tasty tasty! The cannoli crumbs add a really good flavor! Our first time but we will be back!

Great Sandwiches, the pasta is amazing but the best part about Max’s was their catering, I grabbed 5 different pieces of chicken out of the 5 tubs of catering I did for a party and they were all cooked the same and to perfection. I was truly impressed.Have you ever had their fresh out of the oven bread for their Italian subs? If you haven’t, then you honestly haven’t lived. 5 stars!

We had our first visit to Max's and had an early Sunday dinner there. I have to say it's your best bet in the area for authentic and delicious Italian food. We tried the calamari which was fresh and tender, and a special appetizer for the day which was sea bass stuffed mushrooms.. So good. Our meals were equally delicious and dessert was awesome. They had these little cheesecake cones that I'm obsessed with now. Anyways, the service was very welcoming and the restaurant was nice, clean and it's BYOB with a liquor store right next door. I'll be back to try lunch next time, and they cater too which is good to know! Highly recommend.
