“Sometimes you have to abandon what you know (burrito, hamburger, lamb kabob) and try something new like bibimbap (pictured) which means mixing of cooked rice with cool stuff mixed in. Seriously though, a few new places have opened up on the block: no knock on Rosy's Taco Bar, but you just might feel more satisfied at Nam Chon (Korean). The hot bowl/pot cooking technique puts their bibimbap dishes over the top. Come down towards the east end of South St. and check it out. The chef/waiter will give you a free appetizer assortment sampler for your enthusiasm.“
“Me and my family really enjoyed coming to this location H Mart in Philadelphia. Very nice and clean stocked with wide variety of fruits and vegetables frozen good. My only dislike was on the variety of fresh products that were made especially with the brown sticky rice with the nuts and raisins.. And also with the mochi frozen and fresh that was not available. Food court was really outdated. Prices were pretty high.“
“Dining in for a birthday party of 10 we ate half of everything on the menu. Spoiler alert: delicious. We had an assortment of bibimbap, each a generous serving of meat and veggies sizzling in the bowl, the Galbi skillet (slow braised short rib) and the veggie Japchae. Let’s not forget pork buns, which got us started. All together the meal was less than $30 per person and absolutely worth it.“
“We love SavoriBowl as our go to spot when we're a bit too lazy or busy to cook, great poke bowls, good flavor, and the owners are super sweet. The last time my husband went in to pick up, they recognized him and recommended their favorite sauce combinations which we will surely try next time. Their poke bowls are solid, ingredients have been fresh and solid, and I like how easy it is to modify and create your own bowl here, and you get a loyalty discount if you use their system. My only comment is probably not a popular one - it's almost too saucey sometimes - but my husband for example, loves the over sauce and he loves their sauce. For me - I generally love ingredients as is, so sometimes the sauce feels like it overpowers the natural flavor of the vegetables or ingredients - but I do agree that the sauce is delicious! My guess it he majority of people like a very saucey bowl, and I'm the exception. We have also tried their chicken katsu - which was very well made, well fried, to perfection. I hope for the best success of SavoriBowl and will continue supporting them“
“Wow! What a beautiful restaurant modeled after traditional Korean buildings! The restaurant was spacious, lots of booth seating, potentially great for large parties, free parking lot.The soon tofu dishes were fresh and delicious..the hot herbal tea was a nice touch.Highly recommended!“
“5/5 for the happy hour. walk in seating only at the bar, might not have a table for your group if you aren't early enough (like 5 ish). 5 dollar kirin, a huge bowl of fries, decent buns, suboptimal pajeon and dumplings (too oily and no flavor in the pancake). overall everything is sweet and spicy sauces. really a prime place to grab a cold beer and split some snacks, unsure if id go for the actual food at full cost. $35 pp after tax and tip for a beer and honestly a lot of snacks (fried chicken, fries, buns, pancake, dumplings) split with 1 other person“
“A great casual Korean spot in the spring garden! They have many lunch specials and lunch boxes, appetizers, noodles, rice, soup, and rice balls (to go). I personally really liked the flavors of the soup and was satisfied! A few tables are available for seating but can be filled up quickly. The cashier and other staff were very friendly as well!“
“My husband and I had a pleasant lunch here the other day. We were immediately greeted and the staff explained the menu to us both. It was very clean and service was efficient. I really enjoyed my soup, the broth had a good amount of spice without being overwhelming. My husband also loved his sushi rolls and finished everything, no leftovers! We definitely recommend eating at Mari Mari, and will most likely return someday.“
“Service: good, just an fyi though they make it fresh so wait time after you order is 20-25 mins if there's not a rush.Food: spicy original wing combo 4.3/5 great crunch, juicy chicken, seasoned well, honey garlic boneless 4.2/5 great crunch, large portion, seasoning was good! Ambiance: a to go spot, contemporary decorParking: it's upper Darby, it's kinda rough, a lot of transit points there, parking is hard to come byCost: 2 combos under $30Overall: definitely going again but would order before arriving as to not wait around“
“Had a perfect experience with my fiancée i looked at reviews here good and bad ive seen none of the bad reviews being right the food was amazing the service was amazing perfect had a good life and was very helpful in helping me understand the food how it mix and what goes together gave good recommendations and not every place does this right but help loads with my allergies and carter so well to it for the price was so worth it me and my fiance was so stuffed recommend a drink that was really nice as well i will say hands down best Korean food id ever had“
“Food is so good. On certain days they have the Kimchi cucumber so good. A must try. Staff are helpful.Parking: The parking lot is always packed. But you will always find a spot. There are multiple businesses in the mall. So the restaurant is not always busy.“
“Love this place. One of my favorite restaurants. The service, food, and vibe are always 10/10. It doesn't matter what time of day I visit I can't think of a bad thing to say. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's all so good.“
“The food is really good. I loved the kimbob and the steamed pork dumpling is very good too. I would love to go to this place regularly. Although they need to update their online menu and the prices because the prices i saw on here google menu isn’t what they have in the restaurant. Might have adjusted due to inflation - understandable. but recommend to the owner to update on google menu too.“
“You know the Korean food is gonna slap when there's no forks, just chopsticks. Authentic and delicious! We got the beef fried rice and beef bulgogi. Great portion size and awesome flavors. Really friendly service and nice, quiet ambiance.“
“The portions are big my bowl was really big. We also ordered a burrito, fries and a slice of the churro cheesecake. The fries look seasoned but taste like normal fries. The cheesecake looks sugary but it tastes like normal cheesecake. Definitely would go back and try other things. Very good flavor in the bowl and burrito.“
“Mouth watering corn dogs that wont make you want one of those sad county fair corn dogs. The variety and texure and cheese and the batter!....ugh its all like food crack and dont expect to do much if you eat kore than one cuz you will need a nap. The egg toast is unique as well and the flavors marry so well in your mouth. I recommend the ramen dog with mozzarella, and the original k dog along with the bacon egg toast and the ham and cheese egg toast.....I CANNOT LEAVE OUT THAT LEMONADE SLUSHIE! IT WAS DELICIOUS!“
“Fantastic place inside on the Philadelphia Hmart food court.Their combo deals for 13 are great and they throw 12 rolls of your choice at you, with you choosing the three types of four that you get. The inari are fantastic too, and while the price is a tad high for a food court place, I feel like the quality is good enough to warrant it. Definitely more American style rolls for sure (mayo and katsu and so on) but delicious all the same! The rolls that cost extra are pretty huge, I'd definitely order those again, despite the added cost. You can see how big they are compared to the normal smaller rolls on the side in my photo!I come here on the frequent, and I can never complain about the food!“
“for the price it’s really good ! less than $10 for a nice big chicken sandwich. the only thing is i feel the sandwich gets a bit dry once you’re halfway in perhaps it needs more sauce or the chicken is a little over cooked ??? im not sure but ive also had their japchae noodles and tofu which i also really like !! :)) overall great for the price !“
“My brother & his fiance found this place and introduced it to me, and it has become my favorite spot when I’m craving Korean food. This restaurant is located in New Jersey. The restaurant has a classic and homey look. Our server was friendly, and all the food didn’t take long to come out.As K-drama fans, I have been wanting to try Cold Noodle, so when I saw they have it here, I definitely had to try it, and I love it.Their Gan Chajangmyun is also something you have to try if you visit this place. I’ve tried Chajangmyun in many places, and the Chajangmyun here is my favorite.Definitely, I will come back“
“Love this place! Food is good. Definitely try the wings with the secret spicy sauce! But the house made chips are excellent also. The "adult" juice pouches will have you feeling like a kid again ! My favorite is the green tea pitcher. If you wanna sing your heart out or just chill at the bar this place can help you with both.Wheelchair accessibility: There is none.“
“Definitely a hidden gem! I got a recommendation to visit Jopok Topokki, but when I searched it up, the Korea locations showed up first! We ended up with enough food to serve a small army since there were so many things to try along with the tteokbokki- the portions were generous and VERY filling. Everything in the Handmade Fried Set was perfectly crispy and not greasy, and the Fish Cake Skewers are a great add-on if you're extra hungry (we were stuffed).Heard someone call in to place a takeout catering order and I might have to steal that idea to get a party tray of Rosé Topokki for my next potluck...“

“Cool spot! We visited 1225Raw with a friend after visiting the Philly Flower Show nearby and had a good time. Prices were a tad high, and they were out of some options we wanted to try, but overall service was fast and the food solid. Would come back.“
“I got the Jajangmyeon and I really enjoyed it. It's hard to find this dish in South Jersey. It's located in the food court of Hmart Philadelphia (Front Street location). Service is friendly and this Hmart is located in a large plaza with ample parking. I would like to get it again if I'm ever in the area. 4.5/5.“
“First time ever at kpot our waitress was so kind, so patient. I loved they had pictures of tasty sauces yu could make to go with the food. The kimchi was sooooo good & the spicy beef. We got drink on the way out & loved the bartender.“
“The only reason I’ve been going here since 2008 is for the wings—I kid you not; I violently crave them, at least once a month.Cons-- Probably the worst customer service, the servers aren’t very attentive to the customers.- the music is super loud- quite pricey, for everything on the menu.“
“this place is awesome, i enjoyed it a lot id definitely go here again, even though i dont think i did well with cooking the food, but I can't really blame the restaurant for that, because I'm just generally not a very good cook. everything they did to actually help prepare me for cooking the meal was done well.i especially appreciate the fact that i was able to get a fork when asked. i have dexterity issues due to dyspraxia so i tend to do poorly with chopsticks, and im glad i was given a fork when asked without anyone being condescending to me (something that has happened in the past before), so that makes this a great experience in my book! All in all I'd definitely recommend“
“Christmas Day Dinner at So Korean Grill Restaurant.Absolutely pleasant surprise! Amazing food quality and portions!! Not to mention that their service was phenomenal!!!There were 7 of us(6 Adults and a child) entered at around 4pm and the restaurant wasn't busy at the time but soon after, all tables were filled w/customers. Lucky us! We ordered 6 portions of Pork Galbi and Naengmyun(cold noodle), a few minutes later Pork Galbi w/side dish sets hit the table and all of us were just...'WOW'....the portion and taste were way beyond our expectations. Throughout the dinner, a young male server and a lady(maybe the owner..)kept us feel super comfortable and served all the extra items promptly. We will definitely go back and try other Korean BBQ soon.“
“The first but definitely not the last time. My family of five ordered a pretty wide variety of items and each one was delish, fresh, packed with flavor. I had the veg pizza, spectacular! Service was spot on, friendly and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend enough!“
“currently writing this review while eating… hehe. amazing food and service. we got the sweet and sour pork and shrimp and the black bean noodles. omggggg so delicious and the portions were HUGE. plus our waitress was super sweet!!! will be coming again :)))“
“Great Korean food! The pig neck bone hotpot is so good and we order everytime. If you have extra stomach, also order the pig strotter. Eat as is or stew with the hot pot, either way tastes so good! The restaurant is not the most decorated, but the food is definitely top-notch“
“We ordered take out and our order was made very quickly. The chicken is delicious and crispy! (Though not the crispiest Korean fried chicken we've had). We ordered the honey garlic and soy garlic and I preferred the honey garlic slightly more. We preferred the wings over the boneless. I wasn't expecting to love the sweet potato fries but I did!“
“Solid four stars. First, this restaurant is part of an Asian food court on top of 69th street HMart. When I lived in NYC, I would frequent Fort Lee and Little Korea on 32nd street to get my fix. I was able to get bibimbap in a sizzling hot stone bowl, and all the ingredients were super fresh. The only banchan offering was kimchi radish and pickle. My meal also came with a cup of miso soup. I have gotten used to minimal customer service from authentic Asian spots- so I can say the service was ok. I'm glad this place is here to satisfy my Korean food cravings.“
“The place was clean and food was ver y good. Chi namul. Doraji namul, duduk muchim, marinated shredded squid, pancake, soysauce chicken jorim, fried squid tempura.Love this place for their kimbap rice rolls. Even though it's more than 30 mins away from home, they are delicious and so worth it.“
“Unique and delicious spot at the Upper Darby H Mart food court. Love to order their jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) takeout. Authentic and chewy with good size portions. Easy to call over the phone. Simple and well priced. Service is excellent.“
“Excellent service. Delicious, VERY well prepared food. Love the Korean inspired options. Good date or double date spot. Prices are very fair - $3 for a miso soup which is a must, so delicious and cozy. BYO with a $5 corkage. Nearly a perfect little casual restaurant. Looking forward to returning!“
“This was my first time at a Hot Pot. My daughter has been wanting to try it and my friend goes there a lot and she recommended it. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice n patient. It was so much to choose from. The location is peaceful and not far so I will be going often. I recommend to try the soup because you can create anything you want! They just keep bringing things as you ask for it. I will try the other foods I see on this fb page it all looks delicious!“
“Portions are small and food is ok (we had the crab fried rice and tuna tataki). The tuna was flavorless. We didn’t drink but they seem to have an extensive drink menu so maybe there is more to offer cocktail-wise. I liked the atmosphere and the service was good. Glad we tried it out, but wouldn’t return.“
“What a charming little rice cake shop near the H-Mart in Elkins Park! I've stopped in multiple times to pick up some rice cakes as snacks or ingredients for cooking, and they're usually quite tasty. The people working there don't speak much English, but they're very friendly and sweet. Always a nice spot to stop by for some soft rice cake goodness!“
“I'm so glad this restaurant is here! This is like the only Korean restaurant in Philadelphia, other than dubu in north Philly and a couple of spots in west Philly. It's probably the best Korean restaurant that is really close to my area. The gamja tang was really good!!!“
“The best Korean BBQ in the Philadelphia area. They use charcoal for the grill which gives it a good charbroiled smokey flavor. The waiters cook the meat for you. Most other KBBQ places use electric / gas stove, so the charcoal is super cool.Slightly more pricey than the average KBBQ, but it makes sense because the quality, taste, and authenticity is way above average. The service is very good too. We got on the house korean soda drinks to try at the end of our meal from a kind older man.Def try !! It's super delicious.“
