CAPE MAY: Historic Cold Spring Village is an outdoor living history museum which is open seasonally and is pet friendly, but happened to be closed when we visited in late September. The village reopens on June 15, 2024. Luckily on the property, and opened year-round, is Cold Spring Brewery, one of the most unique breweries we have ever been to! Located inside a restored beautiful barn is a tasting room full of so much character, great beer, and a friendly atmosphere. It is NJ's only non-profit brewery that helps support the village to preserve history. The awesome beertender, Bill, made some great tasting suggestions and we had a fun time drinking the Hildreth German Wheat, Cold Spring Red, Cape May Farmhouse, and Pumpkin Festival Ale. There are 15 varieties on tap including non-alcoholic options. Most importantly, leashed dogs are allowed inside and there is also a great outdoor space with firepits and peaceful views. Check their schedule for live music.

Quaint was the first word that came to mind. Beer is cold and has rich, bold flavor. It feels like we stepped back in time to sit down with a pint.

Great atmosphere, for socialization, outdoor and indoor drinking may occur, they also have events if you pay attention to the postings. Overall it was a relaxing old fashion place to have a semi decent beer

A great place to sample different types of beers and even some hard sarsaparilla! We went on an afternoon and had lunch outside and another time enjoyed the music indoors on their comfy couches. It's a great spot!

This is not far from a nearby bike trail. I enjoyed a pale ale here and 2 very soft and warm pretzels. (A lot of salt on the pretzels)Alcohol is not permitted outside of the brewery. This is an historical establishment not far from a WWII museum.

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to this brewery! It is one of the most fun, delightful, and rustic breweries that we have been to! The barn in which the brewery is housed was made in 1804!! It's charming decor and happy atmosphere is simply awesome! Best of all, they have great tasting beer! We suggest that you speak with their cheerful bartenders, Tony/Bill of their Brew Master Shane. You really need to check it out! Please join our FaceBook Group Page, "The New Jersey Brewery Blaze" to read more reviews of other New Jersey craft breweries!

Great vibe here. The tap room is an 1800's era barn. Outside is a fire pit and cornhole game. The beer selection was good too. The Not Ye Grandpappy’s Sarsaparilla was especially good. The staff were friendly too. Overall a nice experience, which we plan to repeat.
