Ordered a few appetizers and a burger. My husband ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and veggies. The food was good. Coconut shrimp and onion rings were a nice starter. The Bleu cheese burger was cooked correctly and presented nicely. I think serving bagged chips instead of fries is lame, but whatever. The steak was also cooked as ordered. The mashed potatoes tasted whipped and buttery. The veggies were tasty but slightly overcooked. The service was disappointing. Our server was not great. He was attentive enough, but not a very pleasant demeanor. Not bad enough to deter me from returning, but will likely try somewhere else next time.

Disappointing lunch. “Special” burger was underwhelming and served with “chips on the side” which turned out to be a small bag of crushed chips. Blackened tuna sandwich was over done and served on a not so fresh bun, again with “chips on the side. Irish pub with loud “Pop” music … potential for so much more.

My Rueben sandwich was horrible. The meat was like rubber. This is only the 2nd time in my life I have sent a meal back. I could not even chew it. This chef and restaurant owner should be ashamed of himself/herself to put this on a plate. My husband had the shepherd pie and it was just okay. We will not be going back. Way too many good restaurants in Cape May to pick from to go there to eat. The only positive thing to report was our waitress, Yena.
