Simply fresh and delicious food. Both fish and chicken tacos were superb. Large portions and a funky, bohemian atmosphere eating outside. Very highly recommend!

I arrived in Cape May and made my usual stop at Key West Tacos. Unfortunately it was around 2:15, and the nice young man apologized and advised they would be closed until 3pm. The guy cooking in the back yelled "You don't have to apologize to them! We are baking back here!" It was an unfortunate exchange, I'll never come back.

These were the best, most fresh + delicious tacos I've had since Acapulco/Mexico City.All of the ingredients are super healthy + crisp, colorful + tasty. Major surfer/beach ambience in the decor, friendly staff. A must visit if you love tacos. Great ones!

I have been mulling over posting about this but I can’t stop thinking about it so I need to make this review. On 6/29 it was the last day of our yearly Cape May vacation. This place is one of our favorites…we come every year…and we hadn’t stopped in yet so decided to do our last dinner there. I decided to try something different so ordered the Craig’s poke tuna taco which is under the Signature tacos. There are two sections of the menu for tacos, one that says “Key West Tacos” and one that says “Key West Taco Signatures”. Under the Key West taco section it said that all Key West Tacos come with slaw and pico de gallo etc. Since it did not say this under the Signature Key West Taco section I thought I was ok to order the Tuna taco as it came. I can not have any tomatoes at all as it is an allergy for me (they give me hives). Again it did not say anything about pico de gallo or tomatoes on that Signature section. So when my taco came out with tomatoes all over it, I thought it was a mistake. I was informed it was not so I explained how the menu seemed a little misleading and I really couldn’t have the tomatoes due to the dietary restriction. I was told that they would not remake the taco. The woman next to me who I didn’t even know piped in saying she also was confused by the menu and the woman behind the counter said “take it up with the owner.” I stood there not knowing what to do and asked again if there was anything anyone could do for me considering the menu seemed confusing and eventually the man cooking behind the counter suddenly came up to me and aggressively asked me what I was having. I was shocked by the suddenness and couldn’t even really understand what he was asking me so I didn’t answer right away. He then yelled “what are you having!!” And I realized he was asking me what I ordered so he could remake it so I started answering and he grabbed the original taco tray out of my hand and violently threw it in the trash. I’ve never seen behavior like this from a customer service standpoint and I was really shocked and at a loss for words. I went back outside to my table and they eventually did bring me my taco without the tomatoes but the whole experience was completely soured for me. It will take a lot for me to come back here and it was one of my favorite vacation eateries. Really sad about this. I guess go here if you want to be yelled at for reading their confusing menu wrong.

Best tacos in Cape May and they are delicious. A single is larger than tacos at most places. Prices are very good for what you get. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very casual atmosphere with most of the picnic tables outside under an awning. I am a frequent customer who has never had a poor experience.

Key West Tacos is the best! The food is incredible, the staff is amazing, and the atmosphere is perfect. The whole family LOVES Key West Tacos. It’s a must for us every trip to the shore.

We ate a couple of tacos and they were very mediocre (and overpriced, paying 18$ for two). The place did not have a bathroom and the waitress told me to go to the corner CVS to use one, it's pretty incredible you can't even wash your hands in a place you typically eat with them. The teenager waitress was very rude to us the two times we asked her questions. Not a great dinner experience.Reading other reviews, I find interesting most of the positive ones are from "local guides". Don't be fooled, the food was pretty bad and service was very rude.

We visited Cape May for a little getaway and came across this gem. Amazing tacos. My boyfriend got the ahi tuna tacos and said the fish was so fresh!
