As a Wall Street institutional salesperson for over 35 years, I've been to some of the best restaurants NYC, LA, Chicago and Boston have to offer. Service and atmosphere at Maison Bleue were absolutely great- and the food even better. No skimping on the portions here - but that did not take away from fabulous presentation and delicate plating. Really really nice- well done guys. Highly recommend... don't forget to bring a fine Pauillac or Bordeaux ! BYO -

Everything was just perfect for our family of 6 Easter dinner thanks to the Dorothy and the Chef accommodating our needs. The restaurant ambience is amazing and the service was great! Everything was delicious from the baked oysters, Duck L’Orange, Rack of Lamb, Steak to crème brûlée! BYOB with a couple bottles of French red and bon appetit!

We tried this place. It was just ok at best. I still can't get over the price for a NY Strip, 68.00 dollars! Where are we in Monte Carlo? Service was good. No reason to return.

02/14/2024 Located in The Hugh B&B, my wife and I, my sister and brother in law all enjoyed a very nice meal... with excellent service. My wife started with the Baked South Bay Salt Oysters, which she raved about for days after. I had the beet salad. Good, but no raving happening. My wife and I both had the Bouillabaisse, which was terrific. My SIL had the Duck l'orange, while my BIL had a 'pasta of the day'. It's a little tight sitting where we were, but the service was terrific. We were a little disappointed that there was no decaf coffee to be had. Not sure if they were out, but it seemed more like decaf just wasn't on the menu. Make plans for this wonderful BYOB restaurant.

Amazing food- standouts were the steak tartare and moulles frites. Service from Dottie was wonderful and we’ll return the next time we’re in town.

Food was incredible. They do not have appetizers, which my gf and I didn't like at first, but the entrees were to die for so that made up for it. Plus, it made for a quick dining experience. I got the wagyu burger and the server told me it was "life-changing" upon me ordering it. I wouldn't go that far, but it was still a really good burger. We split the creme brulee for dessert and it was probably the best creme brulee I've ever had. Our server, Dorothy, was very friendly and hospitable. The building is pretty small and we were sat in a sun room, which can either make or break the atmosphere depending on weather. However, Dorothy told us they will be expanding soon and moving to a larger building in town, so that shouldn't impact their business for much longer. Would totally go back if I was ever in the area again. 4/5 stars!Parking: We were in town 2 weeks before Christmas, so parking was difficult no matter what, especially since this restaurant is located a couple blocks from Congress Hall. I'm sure their lot is not as full other parts of the year.

We have eaten here 4 times because it has great food and service. Dorothy is a real pro. We have known her for long time. She has taken great care of us in other places. She adds real value. All the dishes were great. I love the fisherman egg and the fluke. But other folks really love their dishesParking is a nice feature BUT a lot of people just use the lot to park. Thanks

If you think you've eaten at all the nice restaurants in Cape May think again. This is one to put at the top of your list. The duck confit and steak tartare starters were delish as were all of our main courses. The Dijon curry sauce on the salmon special had amazing flavor and the brown butter sauce on the fluke was just as delicious. Can't wait to return and try something else like the bouillabaisse and coq au vin. No stuffy French service here, the atmosphere is casual and cozy.

This cute little spot is located just behind Cape May's famous Washington St. Mall, a pedestrian walking street full of fun shops, restaurants, & sweets stores. We dropped in without a reservation just as they were opening so we had the place to ourselves - the overall vibe was a tad strange being the only ones there. We dined in June '23 & believe they were still quite new and working some things out. Their team was very sweet and we enjoyed the atmosphere's potential and cute decor. FOOD Fishermen's Eggs: poached Beach Plum hen egg, tarragon cream, sautéed PEI mussels, toast - amazing! Would eat it again right now. Moules Frites: Mussels, Riesling butter sauce, grilled lemon, fines herbes, hand-cut fries - nice to get some good mussels, would have liked a touch more flavor in the broth, but the saltiness of the fries complimented them well. My husband said his steak was just ok. We both really *loved* our app though. We didn't realize it was a BYOB so didn't bring a bottle with us, but they do have some cute NA drinks or there's a liquor store near by.

My spouse and I went here for our combined birthday dinner and were treated to a great meal. We shared four oysters and a harvest salad as our first course, then we each ordered the steak frites. The steak was cooked to perfection (topped with a scoop of compound butter) and the fries rivaled the best I've had anywhere. We were pretty full at this point, but had coffee and shared a creme brulee for dessert, which was also perfection. Even though it was mid-November, we were shocked that there were only two other tables with guests when we dined on a Saturday evening. We will be back for another delicious meal for our anniversary next month!

Absolutely loved the place, food is great. They don’t have a kids menu unfortunately but still managed to make a pasta for my daughter and she ate it ALL.
