This place blew my expectations! Came on a busy weekend and this was the only restaurant with reservations…I am not sure why, because the food was phenomenal! Presentation was also beautiful. This deserves way more than 3.7 stars! So delicious!

We were seated promptly and attended to by our server right away. Drinks were delicious and reasonably priced- they were out of a liquor featured in a special cocktail 2 people wanted to order but they were able to order something else that was very good. We ordered appetizers and were served bread- only enough pieces for diners, extra bread would be $1 more a piece. Appetizers were tasty but cheese plate for table had only 3 small pieces of average Italian bread, we had 6 in our party. We waited a while for our entrees and one entree was missing- the manager explained one entree never got ordered due to computer error- they took the price off of the bill which was nice. The entree was delicious when they brought it out. Food was very good and we enjoyed it. The staff was very apologetic about entree mistake. The holiday music was not to my husband's liking.

We had a seat next to a window which later became cold. The bar was busy and extremely noisy with a group who was just standing around talking and not drinking. We got the Restaurant week menu. The French Onion soup smelled from SHARP Provolone cheese and made me sick. I have never had a French Onion soup made with the sharp provolone cheese only the mild. The duck was chewy and tough. My husband had the chicken and said it was okay, not worth the price. The Limoncello cake was good. The highlight of the meal was the draft Blue Moon beer and the water. A group came in while we were eating and asked to be moved from sitting near the bar. The waitress was very good Restaurant was not busy, just us and another group later.

Service was exceptional (Kelly?), but I'm very bad at names. Food was very good , although I would have liked more seafood options. My husband had a couple requests regarding how his duck breast was served ?, and every one was met to his satisfaction. Believe me, not an easy task.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will definitely dine here again. We had delicious food and drinks with a friendly, attentive wait staff on a beautiful night on the oceanfront in Cape May. It was perfect!

Great service and food. Very nice atmosphere. Off-season so on the quiet side. The only issue is we ordered the cheese plate and skimpy on the cheese. Should've been 3 types, we received 2. Not enough of an issue to ding the rating.

So we visited Cape May for the day and sea salt seemed like a good choice! We ate outside! Perfect. Near the beach, another plus. Honestly I would skip this restaurant with so many other choices. Hub had pulled pork sandwich which did not appear to be homemade? I had the tuna tartare app which I've ordered many times elsewhere and is sufficient for lunch. Not here. The tiniest portion and one of the highest price items on the lunch menu. No refills on iced tea ( or maybe just not offered) Had high hopes as it's part of the hotel and cape may dining leans toward gourmet. We will not be back

My wife and I had lunch at the restaurant this afternoon. We sat outside. It was very comfortable. We ordered beverages, we were not rushed at all. My wife ordered a tuna tartare (appetizer) as her lunch, whereas I had the pulled pork sandwich. Our meals were served very timely. My sandwich came with fries and was good-sized. On the other hand, and the reason I'm giving only 3 stars was - the portion size of tuna, considering the price (at $22 it was one of the most expensive items on the menu) was very underwhelming. My wife is not large, and in other restaurants orders this appetizer as her lunch entree. In summary, I think there are better choices in the area.

Sea Salt - fine dining, superb entrees, quiet ambience We used metered parking right in front of the restaurant with quarters. Our Open Table reservation was honored upon arrival and we loved the quiet two-seater table against the wall. Preslava presented as a young pleasant server who took our drink order and brought warm rolls to the table. We ordered the pan seared duck which was superb in tenderness and expuisite accompanying sauce. My partner got the grilled pork chop which was moist and delicious but no match for my duck. Sea Salt is pricey but well worth the splurge for the fine quality of the ingredients and the professional chef preparation and presentation. While we chose and enjoyed inside seating, Sea Salt does have an outside patio option with a view of the ocean, weather and saeson permitting.

We had an excellent meal at SeaSalt on Beach Ave. in Cape May NJ. Very comfortable, with attentive & pleasant staff. Very accommodating. All three courses were fabulous. I would highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful selections and location. It was within walking distance from our lodging and the outdoor seating was pleasant with beautiful views of the sun setting over the water. Our entrees were exceptional and the service, very good! We will return on our next visit to Cape May!

We had the pleasure of dining at Sea Salt this evening. We had a group of 17 and were stuck for a last minute reservation. Victoria and her staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It was a very pleasant evening.

This place has made the top 5 of my worst meals I’ve had in the displeasure of eating…Strike #1 was the limited menu. We had made a reservation on open table and the menu they had displayed online was more extensive than what was actually offered at the restaurant. Strike #2 was the seafood bisque. In any other restaurant I’ve been to a seafood bisque is a thick creamy sauce with chunks of shellfish this was the complete opposite! The soup was super watery and salty, it wasn’t something you could force yourself to eat. Strike #3 were the entrees, while the salmon and pork chop were good the halibut and scallops were disappointing. I’m pretty sure the scallops were frozen as they were very chewy and the seafood risotto was not edible, the shrimp was grey… overall save your stomach from this disaster and just go anywhere else. I know I'll be going to McDonald later tonight.
