Took food to go, but the combo special is great. It must be a special for the locals during the winter months because I don't see it in the summer

The Cape May Scallops were good and well cooked, although under-seasoned and the sauce bland. I would have liked more of a selection for vegetables. The milkshake for dessert was delicious. Atmosphere was dark and dated. And the uniforms for the serving staff should be updated. The female staff looked like they worked at Scoops Ahoy from Stranger Things!

My family has been going here for 80 years or so and we love the service and the food and the fish market.

I've seen this place every time I've come I to Cape May, finally visited on Saturday (off season, mid April ). I got the lobster pot, 2 very small lobsters, a few clams, muscles etc. The portion was very small for the price, the utencils they gave me were unusable. Overall I was a bit disappointed.

The bread, salad, calamari and snapper soup where very good. The main entrees were disappointing the fish was dry over cooked and my lobster was tough. We opted not tp have deserts.

The Lobster House has always been a classic place with an old-fashioned nautical theme and beautiful sea views as it sits right on the water. Waitresses are also dressed in a nautical theme with white skirts and a nautical top (although it must be tough wearing white in this role). The atmosphere is a classic shore vibe. It is kid-friendly, with a separate kids' menu. The food is still very good - and one of the only places that still provides a salad with dressing of choice and homemade "everything-topped" bread - just like the bagel - which is delicious. Specials are not too pricey, and cocktails are about $8 - less than most. We have been coming for years and will be back!Parking: Gravel parking lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: Separate kids menu provided which has burgers, fried shrimp, chicken nuggets and other options.

Food is on the geriatric side of the culinary world... Great view of cape may harbor...they should be arrested for how they prepare perfectly good raw ingredients.
