My first time there and it was terrible. I've always gone to Momijis but thought I'd finally give Yozu a try because I have heard of good things but I will never go back. I ordered the hibachi combination lunch. The chicken was so dry you couldn't even chew it, the steak didn't have much flavor, the rice was bland, and the vegetables were extremely salty. Nothing about the meal was good, I was so disappointed. I will be sticking to Momijis

The tuna sushi was not good. The seaweed could not be chewed without conscious difficulty, I didn't even recognize the tuna. The other ingredients in the Bonito box were not that great either. Very disappointed in the food that I ordered. It was my first time at this restaurant, I can't say I'll go back.

I had the pleasure of sitting at the sushi bar with my friend, Vinnie, who had his first sushi experience here! Chef could not have been more kind, attentive, and helpful explaining sushi to him. Chef’s station was immaculately clean, our service was very kind and attentive, and we had a wonderful time. It was a joy to introduce my friend to sushi at Yozu!Vegetarian options: Chef made us a special cucumber roll and was very attentive to dietary restrictions- this is a very safe place to go for creative vegetarian food!Kid-friendliness: There was a birthday party happening when we were dining! The kids all had a blast and the families seemed happy as well. Definitely a good place for kids to learn and taste new things!

Ordered on Grubhub several hours in advance, and when I went to pick up, they said their iPad wasnt working. They made no attempt to contact me beforehand to cancel this and this was my lunch for a holiday party. Their customer service is very poor, as there was a little girl running the front who didnt know what to do...dont go here even to pick up 0/10

Sushi was quite good. Yozu platter including soup and salad. Still made fresh when it was slow and later in the night, so that speaks for good quality. Looking forward to returning. Music was calming and the dining area was up scale.Hibachi stations always look like a good time, as well

Can't recommend this place enough. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Staff is extremely friendly, family owned business. Place is clean, charming and cozy. They have tables to sit if you don't want a show, and you can watch them make sushi if you like that. Food is amazing, fried cheesecake is to die for! Definitely better than the Rio Grand hibachi.Parking: Parking is a little confusing in front of the building as the complex redid the lines poorly. Owners are working to fix it. Plenty of parking as it's near the mall.
