Ambience is good, but I opted for a lunch special take away....the portion size was too small... For a 13$ meal, offering a bigger bowl of white rice isn't too much to ask. And also they don't give soul as part of lunch special...it's either a teeny roll or a soup. I advise the management to be a bit more liberal with their serving sizes.

Wanted to like this place because it's close to home. I ordered papaya salad and asked for the dressing on the side. Nope. Mixed in. The salad was good though. I also ordered vegetable pad Thai. The veggies smelled like a dirty sneaker. After removing all the aged veggies, the rest of the dish had zero favor. Right in the garbage. Finally the drunken noodles were extra spicy and not tasty. Also in the garbage. Oh well.

I absolutely love the Thai food here. And had to go since they moved from Carlstadt to Wallington. Service was slow but they managed.Vegetarian options: I'm pescatarian and always have the steamed shrimp dumplings. And the pad thai noodles with shrimp.

I have been coming to Areena Thai Cuisine for about a year now, and I must say, every visit is better than the last. With the new location, I figured it was time to leave a review. Firstly, the establishment including the bathrooms are extremely clean, tidy, and the restaurant has a nice, homey, welcoming vibe and atmosphere. The owner, is kind and greets all of his customers also giving recommendations on what to try if you have never been. The waiters are also friendly and accommodating and I have never had a bad experience on that end. The food itself is delicious. I have not had much experience with Thai Cuisine to be honest, but from the places I have been, this definitely ranks supreme. I would highly recommend the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and the Thai Iced Tea. Also, worthy of note is that the food is certified halal. Overall, I would highly encourage and recommend giving this establishment a chance, as we need more small restaurants offering not just good food, but equally as important: good vibes.
