We went here for an iftar program. Even though we went to the iftar program, our meals and soup arrived 1-1.5 hours later. We were 18 people and no one was left satisfied. They also included an extra 13 dollars service fee on top of the iftar fee that was talked to a few of my friends. We didn't talk about this with them. Even though they knew we were coming for an iftar program, they said you came at a busy time. That's why 1 star. Sorry.

Today my husband chose this place to celebrate his birthday, which is quite close to home and I already knew that it had a beautiful view. What I not imagined was that it had such delicious food, but the food is not the best, Didi's service The young woman who attended us was everything, I mean 100% recommended, there are people who come with their heart and make you feel special.

We had my 50th birthday at this restaurant! It was a lovely time, the patio was reserved for us, a large group of 22. The appetizers were delicious, fresh and plenty. The main course was also very good. Everything came out on time, and served properly at the right temperature. The staff is very attentive, quick. Although it was march, the temperature in the patio was maintained for us to our comfort. I was very happy, and thankful for the staff and owners of Hunkar for making my special night, and my friends left satisfied.

I was going to wait to write my review when i got home but im writing it on my drive home because i couldn’t wait. Deedee and John took such good care of my family and I and were constantly checking on us throughout the night if we needed anything. Every single appetizer and entree we received were absolutely delicious. The ambiance and seating area outdoors created the perfect atmosphere for our dinner. I will definitely be coming back again.

I have to edit my review . We went last night as a small family of 3 for my birthday and our waiter I didn’t get his name but he had glasses was spectacular. He was so kind and helpful . He truly made it an amazing experience. The appetizers were amazing and warm including their bread . The food came out so warm and flavorful . There was also another gentleman who was so kind . This is truly one of the best NJ restaurants to visit .We had a group that had dinner and everyone was raving about their plates . The bread was also so crisp to perfection . The appetizers came out fresh and hot . The rice was so tasty and cooked so good . The atmosphere was just great.I went there this past Tuesday with my family for my birthday. The waitress was extremely kind and patient because it was our first time seeing the menu . The food was so fresh and tasty . Everything was perfect !
