“No one makes a better hoagie or cheesesteak. Anywhere. If they served crinkle cut fries it would be better than the ones they have. But it's a sandwich shop, so can't really go wrong grabbing chips instead. The sandwiches are the absolute best I've ever had.“
“My father used to go here for my grandmother when he was a kid and me and my father would come here and get their steak subs. They are reasonably priced and one of the best! They are really delicious and have old fashioned flavored sodas in glass bottles (ex: grape, cherry etc...) They are also very friendly and nice people that work there! Highly recommend this place!!!“
“Clean bathrooms, lots of parking, friendly staff and great sandwiches. Though the beer salad only had three small beets.Portions are smaller but the quality is good. Why mention the bathroom's first? If the kitchen was as clean as the bathrooms, it's a very hygienic, tidy, safe environment.“
“First, I have to say the service here is great! the people are friendly and fast. Everyone that walked said nothing but good things about the food. I had the roast pork supremo broccoli rabe with sharp provolone cheesesandwich and it was super tender. The broccoli was something new that I have never had before in a sandwich but it opened my eyes and I couldn't stop eating it. The slightly spicy sauce that this sandwich had just kept me coming back for more. The flavors are balanced you won't want to add anything to it. It's like no other sandwich you have ever had before. Just make sure you get this sandwich supremo, it will catch you by surprise. I ended up also trying their dessert which was a rice pudding and it took me home. The rice was the right level of soft and chew, and the milk was creamy with the right amount of cinnamon and sugar. Man it was good! It didn't make it back to my room it was so good. So come hungry and ready to eat some good sandwiches and try the rice pudding.“
“Their food is great but they don't accept ENT benefits and it's not fair to Americans on public assistance who don't extra money for food especially homeless people on Snap who only have these places to eat at they need to catch up with the rest of the country !“
“A great and tenured place to grab sandwiches quickly! The prices are in line with most sub shops and you're likely to get a sandwich you enjoy here. Like any place, if you're ordering around standard mealtimes or shortly before a Phillies or Eagles game you may want to give them some extra time to put your order together. It'll be worth the wait!“
“I’ve been eating sandwiches from Pickles & Chips since day 1, they are my family’s go to sandwich for tailgating in tubby raymond stadium parking lot at the University of Delaware football games, everything on their menu is so good for a pick me up snack; the quality is just there in the sandwiches itself! 10/10 for life“
“We are seniors and don't quite fit with the young and noisy bar crowd but there is plenty of seating in other areas with attentive staff and a good menu. Tons of beer selections, some unusual mixed drinks to try, and regular specials. Not the cheapest but clearly popular.“
“Special Christmas drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. Garibaldi’s is next to Maxi's and they have a connecting inside door. You can take your cheesesteak to Maxi’s or you can take your beer to Garibaldi’s. It’s a big cheesesteak but in the picture you can see that it is dry. Maxi’s has beer but they allow smoking. The bartender was awesome. The young woman at Garibaldi’s was amazing. She made our cheesesteak on a garlic bread roll.“
“First walking in. I got the vibe that this is what an "Authentic" sandwich shop is supposed to be. Not super pretty and vibrant. But clean and about their business. Ordering was easy, and the cashier guided through my order. The sandwich was LOADED! I ordered the spicy Italian. Onion rings were... onion rings. So they were delicious as well. This is the type of place that I would frequent often if there was one here in the Atlanta surrounding areas.“
“The "Sandwich Artests" were great my sandwich was well done and was not soggy by the time I got to eating it which is a big problem from time to time with subways. The location is very small in a very small truck stop and as such if there are more then 2 people in line it gets a little hectic.“
