Service is unmatched. Very friendly and polite every time I've dined here. Food is good and portions are a good size.

Had reservations but had to wait15 minutes for a table. We had a show to go so I wasn’t happy. Other than that the rest of the evening was great. Sangria was awesome. Pic below is crabmeat stuffed flounder. Delicious, moist and cooked perfectly. Rice was also moist and flavorful. Wife had shrimp , scallops and flounder in garlic sauce. Not heavy on the sauce but great flavor nonetheless. Worth checking out.

Decided to try eating locally and damn did the pay off!!Cane here with my family because I live locally and I was surprised I never came here before! The food was impeccable and truly tasted like it was fresh and well tended to. Even though I had my own personal preferences with my meal it was hard for me to dislike anything they served. Along with entrees I got a lava cake and I'm not going to be able to find a better restaurant lava cake than this.Food was an absolute 10/10The service was amazing as well. Our server Brian came to serve us with a great attitude. One of my family members was torn on what meal to pick. Brian did not hesitate on assisting him, and did it with a very respectful tone and manner.Service gets an easy 10/10Atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and calm as the restaurant wasn't over lit, the music they provided was friendly and not too loud, and they provided sports entertainment on the TV's.(Which also had mellow volume, quite a bonus)Atmosphere is an easy 10/10Overall 30/30Final thoughts: Being that it's a local restaurant and defnitely high caliber for a small restaurant like that. It'll be an easy decision to cone here again no question.Vegetarian options: Being that I'm not vegetarian I don't have much to sayParking: Close to the restaurant and fairly emptyKid-friendliness: Nice music, crew doesn't use profanity, plays sports on the TVWheelchair accessibility: Open and spacey, with a ramp included

Great Person

Food was horrible. Service was great. Sangria was mediocre. Steak was parboiled not even fried. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box. Pasta was bland. Not even worth it.

I went in to celebrate my boyfriend birthday and I felt like the service was too busy catering to their own family to care about us. My boyfriend enjoyed the steak, and I appreciate the honesty with the restaurant pricing, but I don't think I would be going back anytime soon.

We came here as it was a few blocks from the Carteret PAC where we were going to see a show and the reviews looked decent. This place should not be called a Steakhouse based on our experience. A couple of people ordered the NY Strip steak which was so puny and thin it could have been mistaken for a steakum. Another in the party ordered the cowboy cut 34 oz steak which was $42 on the menu, but the server said it was now $54 for some reason. Wow, it must be an awesome steak, right? Wrong, there is no way that was a 34 oz steak and was more like what you would expect for the NY strip steak. Not only were these steaks small, but there was nothing special about them and I've made better steaks from Shop Rite on the grill in my backyard. You would seriously get a better steak at a place like Perkins pancake house. Texas Roadhouse blows it away and much less expensive. I got the seafood combo which consisted of 4 each of small shrimp and scallops along with a small piece of flounder that was so thin it couldn't help but be dried out because a minute of baking would dry it out. The flavoring on this entree was only garlic. I love shrimp and scallops and these were not good. We also got 5 appetizers for the table that were underwhelming. Scallops wrapped in bacon is a favorite of mine, but theirs were just small overcooked scallops with little to no flavor. Shrimp in garlic were small shrimps and not many of them. The ambiance was pretty good and we were 8 good friends who hadn't seen each other in a while so we made the most of it, but would not come back.

I've never had a more HORRIFIC restaurant experience in my 60 plus years of life! This place is abominable. I ordered a New York strip steak. It came out, looking like a pounded thin club steak. It was terrible! I took 2 bites. Two people with me ordered the filet mignon and it came out well done when they asked for medium. The waiter never came over to check to see how our food was, so finally, when we raised our hand for the check, I said I would like you to take this steak off of my bill because it was awful and definitely did not seem like it was a New York sirloin. I mentioned that I ate my mashed potatoes and vegetables, if you'd like to charge me for that. When we get the bill they charged us $18.50 for mashed potatoes and vegetables!!! They gave us a small basket of bread for a table of five so we asked for more and we were charged for the second basket of bread! My friend asked for club soda because she got some sauce on her white shirt and they charged us for the club soda to clean up her shirt! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. What a nightmare!

I came here for my birthday dinner and it was such a great experience! Brian, our waiter, and Nico and the rest of the staff made my night special. The customer service we received was exceptional. Thank you all! The food was amazing. We enjoyed our meal very much. Kudos to the chef! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food tonight was terrible. Mash potatoes were stiff Rice was soft, scallops sucked. Don’t know what was going on with the chef tonight but ICould have had a better meal at home instead of wasting my $9O.O0 dollars. They didn’t even offer to take the mash off the check after I showed them how stiff they were! The guy who is always there didn’t even come over to apologize.. service was not on top of things. I’ll never come back again
