What a quaint little place. Went on a Thursday nite and We loved it. Food was very good, great portions and service was amazing. Very small with about 10 tables, but big in food and service. We will definitely be backâ¤

I called for a reservation and was told they are no longer a general seating restaurant and only open for private groups. Very disappointing.

I just read Carl's review on 9/1/18. Now I don't know Carl but I'm sure that what he stated is 100% correct. I love Gambinos and used to go there several times a week for lunch. The owner is really a nice person, but working his butt off just to get by. He stopped his lunch business because it was not profitable. He also eliminated many cheaper items on the dinner menu simply because he could not survive when customers order a cheap meal and tied up a table for over an hour. This is a very small place and he depends on higher check averages. Unfortunately, we stopped coming here for dinner because all the menu items we normally ordered were removed from the menu and he explained the reason for it. I know he takes pride in everything he serves and purchases top quality ingredients. I really don't think he a businessman. I'd like to see him do well here in this location but I think that he made some bad business decisions and it's just probably getting to him. If he just wants to cater to customers that order more expensive meals, my advice would be to just change the menu and only include expensive items that he can make a good profit on. I hope he reads this. I miss going there, but he's a hands on owner operator , and there's not many left that live in the store all the time.

Anytime I order from them for catering for my job, they never disappoint! John is always so nice and the food is always AMAZING!!!! Everything I've gotten from there is so good! The penne alla vodka has to be one of my favorites! I always have my coworkers coming up to me asking when are we getting from Gambinos because it's always great!!! You won't be disappointed !!

The food is just phenomenal. Service is very good (thanks Patricia!). It is BYOB, so bring yiur favorite red and white. The portions are large. The only downside is trying to have a conversation is tough, the place is small.
