I first visited this deli back in the 1960s when I was in highschool. I was visiting Cherry Hill early this year and decided to pay Lou and Ann's a visit. One step inside and I was transported back in time. I recognized the aroma right away. My wife and I had their classic Italian hoagie. It was fantastic. We decided to take one of the entrees back to Richmond on our way out of town. The chicken Marsala not only survived the trip home, but it was delicious. We recently had a birthday celebration for my wife's mom, and we decided to pick up a few of the entrees to serve. We chose chicken and pork Parmesan, along with eggplant parm, chicken cacciatore and some marinara sauce. We complimented these with some real Italian pepperoni and a hunk of provolone. Everything was excellent and the portions enough for 2 people. Be sure to try the meatballs! There are a few tables where you can sit and drink in the atmosphere while enjoying an Italian hoagie or a cheesesteak. Don't forget to get a pickle too. You'll usually find Lou Jr at the counter or in the kitchen cooking up his mom's treasured Italian masterpieces.

When a family relative is suffering from Stage 4-Brain Cancer/I could only think of the only business with the very best, outgoing and personable owners that have surpassed 40 yrs of business for a reason!!! She literally chowed down and absolutely loved her Prosciutto/Salami/Provolone Cheese and Roasted Red Peppers, and all we can say is THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts to wishing all of you, an eternity of happiness and support from all the communities togetherSincerelyChris Weber

Probably the best hoagie I have ever had. The Old World Italian is to die for. The chicken salad is also ridiculously good. They use great bread. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely worth checking out.

This is a classic NJ mom and pop deli! My son had an amazing Italian Hoagie. My father and I had liverwurst sandwiches. My dad also had a cup of Manhattan clam. The soup was so good we took home quart containers of the MC, split pea and his mother’s recipe Lima bean and celery soup. There are some small tables which we used. We also enjoyed their homemade sodas. At home we just had the lime bean and celery soup. Fantastic. Thanks Lou!

Fantastic old-school, mom-and-pop deli. Italian hoagie and pizza steaks are great, will definitely be back.

Been wanting to try this place for a very long time, but their operating hours aren't exactly conducive to working professionals unless u are located in the immediate vicinity. The construction around there is supposedly a 5 yr project - Oy to that! Anyway - got a chicken salad hoagie. Delicious, interesting seasoning with dash of cinnamon. I've never had that before. Also had some macaroni (made with cavatappi pasta). I like that Lou puts his spin on everything. The only negative - it smells like a chimney in there! And my jacket smelled of it for the remainder of the day. That doesn't work for me - that's very old school but the owner should be respectful of customers. He was definitely a character. But I think the quality of his food was good. I would be inclined to go there again, but hours are limited so who knows when? ‍

They make the Very Best sandwiches ever. The homemade Manhattan Chowder is so delicious. I will be back. Never change a thing.

1st time here, ordered hoagies for Super Bowl. We're sure they will be yummy when we consume them on Staten Island during our Super Bowl party with friends. Plus, Sue was absolutely terrific to work with.
