Despicable treatment of minorities… coffee cold 99% of time. And when I asked for “hot” fresh coffee, I get smirked at by the same woman, who looks at me like I am asking for something that black people don’t have a right to expect. I pay $3.50 for a cup of coffee that I must go home and reheat in the microwave, daily. Today was the final straw. Sad. I spoke with the manager, Colleen, who whined, “oh I am so sorry. Oh oh.”However, it wasn’t until I said I was going to social media to complain that their (specific this one woman) treatment of blacks was unacceptable. This woman lied to my face. All I want is hot, fresh coffee. At least that’s what I thought I was paying for…. I saw this particular woman emptying the pot into my cup when I walked into the store; I order from the app. The guy says what do you want. I gave him my name and said I ordered a venti pike. He says we’re just waiting for a fresh pot to brew. I looked at the woman who was emptying out the old pot into my cup and asked, “I will get a fresh cup,?” To which she replied, “yes!” And she gives me that same smirk ish look. So I wait… When she puts the cup up, I take it and travel the 3 minutes to my home. When I take the lid off, there is no steam, and the coffee is almost room temp. So, like most days, I pour the $3.50 coffee into my mug and put it in the microwave. This is what prompted me to call. If you don’t want to serve black folks then say so. Put a sign on the door and I’ll take my green money elsewhere. But please stop treating black folks like slaves… it is very sad. I really tried to patronize this location, but I will never go in there again. If it weren’t for the great service I get around the corner on Haddonfield Road, I would totally never go into another Starbucks. Get with the program, discrimination ain’t cute. If you don’t want to serve everyone then choose a career where you only come in contact with your own. God bless you.

I visited this Starbucks at about 1pm Sunday 1/28/2024.I was not greeted properly by the barista.The barista did not listen when I ordered a decaf coffee black, instead offered cream and sugar.The topper was that he lied and said, "I do not have enough to give you change."In total my order came to 9 dollars and change. I handed him a 50.I find it highly suspect that there was not 40 dollars in either till, or the petty cash drawer that most businesses keep. The shop was full.I told him we wouldn't be able to complete the transaction then, to which he replied, "Oh, well".Very disappointing, but usual nonsense for this location.

Almost Every time I come here I have less than good service. Attitudes from staff, not the best guest service and overall a bad experience.I was told today that they couldn’t accept my $50 bill because he just opened his drawer.I asked if the cashier next to him could break it, he said no.I was late for work and didn’t have time for this situation.Zee, the cashier was so rude about it. Then another employee chimed in with her attitude as well.The place was super packed and multiple people paid with cash so I know for sure there was change to break my 50. There’s always an issue here, my drinks are made wrong often and they always make an issue no matter what the situation is.Do yourself a favor and go to another location.
