“Emei is one of the few Chinese Restaurants that has several gluten free options. My wife has celiac disease so this is very important and the servers here are knowledgeable and helpful about dietary restrictions. We started with the Cucumber and Garlic salad which is absolutely delicious. Then the main entree was house special fried rice with General Tsao's chicken. That's something nearly impossible to get gluten free. It was very good. The ambiance was fine nothing over-the-top. Special shoutout to Valerie, our server. She understood my wife's celiac seriously. Took her time explaining various menu options, etc. Professional and personable. Overall highly recommended.“
“Stopped by here for a late lunch with the family. It was close to our hotel (walking distance). We went during a time when it wasn't busy. We were welcomed by a staff member who seated us right away. Those who took our order and brought out the food were friendly and efficient. Overall, the food was good. The scallion pancakes were a little on the smaller size. The shrimp for the honey walnut dish was not what we had initially expected -- it was breaded, similar to that of Chinese chicken fingers -- but still good. The shrimp lo mein had an added taste which I was trying to identify. It reminded me of pork or some kind of meat -- but again, still good. The place was nice, spacious with high ceilings, and has a huge bar. It reminded me of a bar/lounge back in NYC, but it was a little dim. Overall, it was a decent place to get some Chinese food in the area. Also, I believe they will be moving locations soon.“
“I'd actually been to Dan Dan years ago, the last time I was in Philly, and decided to come back. Even years later, the noodles were still memorable, but this time I decided to try something else. They had a bunch of options for entrées, but I decided to go with Hot Dry Pot Dish (Chicken), since it came with a bunch of vegetables. I was very pleased with the portion size and the dish was delicious! I actually sat at the bar, since it was just me, but they had plenty of regular tables as well. The vibes were pretty relaxed, but I could see it being more lively on a Friday or Saturday night. I really enjoyed my meal here!“
“This was a surprise on our 5th night in Philly. We had a group of small plates. Pork dumpling in chili oil, glazed sting beans, Indian pancakes with curry, peking duck buns, and Singapore noodles. If the food is this quality all the time, they have hit a home run. Add in the excellent drinks menu with well crafted alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and there is nothing to fault here. Would definitely come back.“
“I called them if I can pay by cash when they deliver and they were very informative and nice about it. They close at 11:30 at the time of ordering and I ordered at 11:00 and they came around 11:40, they were not mad about it at all and the food was sooooo Delious. 2 fried rice with orange chicken and god was that chicken so good“

My family now orders chineese food exclusively from there because nothing else even come ls close to how good this food is. “I had a taste for ribs but didn't want to cook them myself and this place did not disappoint....I got the large and the whole platter was full....it had good flavor but giving it 4 stars because I had to put them in the air fryer for a few minutes....I just felt like they could of been cooked “

“The taste is fresh and natural. The variety is diverse and every dish is passable. The atmosphere is nice, quiet, and the food is solid. Suitable for small gatherings of family and friends. I like hot dry noodles, fried dumplings, and steamed buns. The milk cover is also okay. All in all, none of the dishes were too bad.“

The guy who ordered for me was very polite, and when I told him that it was for three girls, he also suggested that I order less. The reason is that the portions of ingredients in their store are very generous, and I might not be able to eat the amount I ordered. It will be a waste and a waste of money. When it comes to this, I think this guy is very considerate of his customers and is very honest! This is very rare in the restaurant industry! “I’ve been eating Chef Steve’s sushi for years. Food was superb as usual. Only downside is they would not honor a coupon code that was specific to the Cherry Hill location. I was under the impression they were all the same. Next time I’ll read the fine print.“
“Haven't dined in yet. However, take out has been awesome . We love their wings. We just had the 3 cup chicken( already a fav), and the bok choy with mushrooms is very good. We haven't been disappointed with any meal. Highly recommend“
