Excellent food, Excellent service, and a great friendly atmosphere, so why only four stars? The tables are so close together that you will inevitably bump someone, bump their table, or they bump you. If you can handle that, the pickle bar alone is worth the trip.

Oy vey, the Kibitz Room is not good, and I was so excited to check it out. Firstly, the service is horrendous - absolutely terrible. Our server messed up everything that was possible, and despite our small party being friendly, they behaved as if they would prefer to be anywhere other than the Kibitz Room as a server. Secondly, the food is merely okay. If you are expecting a NYC or Philly type of Kosher restaurant, you will be sadly disappointed. One member of our party had pastrami, and thought it was decent - not great. Another had a whitefish platter, and again it was only okay. I had a bowl of Matzo Ball soup and an omelette. The Matzo Balls are made using the same Manishevitz matzo mix you can buy in any grocery store, which is not impressive. The ball was enormous, but if I go to a Jewish Deli, I expect "homemade" Matzo Balls. The cheese omelette I had was a 2.5 out of 5. It's not easy to mess up an omelette, but apparently it can be done. In retrospect, I wish I had taken some pictures to share. In my opinion, this is a place to skip.

The Kibitz Room has been a favorite place of mine for years. The food is excellent, the staff are all very friendly and attentive, and did I mention the food is excellent??? And their Pickle Bar is top notch! There's a pickle there to satisfy all pickle lovers! I cannot recommend The Kibitz Room enough!Parking: They share a large parking lot with other businesses as they're located in a strip of shops. But there is always plenty of parking available.

I really wanted to like this place after hearing all the buzz about it and my love for Rubens. For the price of $24 for a whole pastrami, Ruben, this was pretty underwhelming. The bread was uneven, burnt on one side, not as much meat as on Rubens in pictures, hardly any karut, and the dressing thousand island was okay. Their potato salad was very sweet with hardly any other flavors. I did have their chicken noodle soup w/matz ball as well. Overall, the soup itself was my favorite, that broth is delicious.

We ordered delivery on a Friday night. It was about a 45-minute wait. We got two chicken tender platters; each came with two sides, we both picked onion rings and then got mac & cheese and french fries. The menu was a little pricey but portions were very generous. We also got chicken noodle soup which was delicious. We will definitely try more items next time.

Bagel came toasted, wasn't asked if I wanted it that way on my whitefish. They brought me another bagel to scoop my toppings on and it was stale?

Delicious and gigantic sandwiches and quick service. Their Pickle Bar is one of my favorite things in New Jersey. The sandwiches are a little pricey but they're like two meals each with all the toppings, so worth the price I think. Check it out if you're out that way!
