While Hung Vuong supermarket is the Asian grocery store go to, Wegmans is the American equivalent supermarket. The place is just as big and clean like Hung Vuong's. The selection of organic items is impressive. Much more than Whole Foods. Price point is noticeably just as expensive as Whole Foods but you get the quality you paid for. After all, organic is always more expensive than non-organic grocery stores.

The actual store itself I really do like. The produce, the meat, the Pharamacy (and omg the cheese). I like the prices yet I go out of my way to go elsewhere because they have a crap load of lines but like only 3 are for cash . Sorry I don't use my card for everything and the rudeness of the cashiers who have to work the credit card register make me want to wait for the friendlier cash sale register

This place used to be good before the pandemic . You used to be able to get made to order lunches and dinners at great prices with fresh hot sides. Unfortunately what they offer now is prepared food that is not good , not fresh, Embarrassingly overpriced. Don't believe me? Go ahead find out for yourself and you're going to be writing a review just like this!

For my location, this is the closest "suburban" grocery store outside of downtown Philadelphia. The cheese selection alone is superb. For your common grocery items they offer quite a few variations (goat milk, oak milk, unpasteurized milk, etc, you get the picture). Prices are reasonable, too.

Hello, I would first like to start off by saying how much my family and I enjoy patronizing Wegmans. We enjoy the freshness of the produce and meats, and the variety of items that are offered daily. That is why I am so disheartened that I have to address the situation that happened to my daughter today. My daughter was in Wegmans this morning @ 8:45, picking up a few groceries for me and for herself. She procured her items and proceeded to the self-checkout. She said as she was checking out her first order, an Asian gentleman kept walking back and forth past her looking in her cart and watching her scan her items. He was making her nervous. When she completed the first transaction, she said he approached her ad asked her did she scan everything. She told him no, she had two separate transactions. He then asked her for her receipt and told her he would hold onto it and wait for her to complete her next transaction. She said he stood there and watched her ring every item. He then escorted her over to customer service because there was a discrepancy in the receipt. He made her so nervous, that she over-charged herself and was given a refund. I received a call from my daughter once she got to her car. She was frantic and near tears not understanding what happened or what she did wrong. My husband and I were over an hour away so I just tried to calm her over the phone and told her to go home. When my husband and I got back, we went to Wegmans and spoke to Michael the manager. He was very polite and sympathetic, but I'm not sure he understood the position I was coming from. My daughter is a young African American female who was treated and made to feel like she was a thief! In the racial volatile climate that we are living in today, this situation was handled all wrong. This is a situation that we have unfortunately encountered several times before. I understand the man has a job to do, but did he really have to treat my child, a young black girl, like a criminal? My husband works hard for our family to afford what we want. My daughter also works. We get nothing for free. I spent $86 on 7 items. 7items!! And this is how my child gets treated? UNACCEPTABLE! Now she wants to return her stuff, but she's too embarrassed to go back into the store, so I'm going to have to go back in there tomorrow to do it for her. Why would a grown man do that to a child? Absolutely ridiculous. Shop Rite is right next door and a whole lot cheaper than Wegmans, but we chose to spend the extra money and shop at Wegmans. We will have to seriously consider where to make our next shopping trip.

I used to go for freshly prepared ethnic foods at their food bar. Now the selection is too limited.

What a terrible experience I had on MY BIRTHDAY. Me and my daughters went to get a cake. I saw the cake I wanted which was gluten-free (no big deal) and when my daughter went to get it wrote on, the older bakery associate was so rude. She never spoke, or greeted her, then right away asked her "can you afford this cake, can you read and see it's gluten-free? Unbelievable, my daughter was so upset we decided to not purchase anything. The team leader offered us a free cake, but we declined because why would we want anything after that traumatic experience. Of course she saw three women of color dressed nice come in there and was probably upset that she had to wait on us, and was big mad. Bottom line I will not be going to Wegmans anymore, and their employees can use more diversity training. Disgusting.

The best store around for all your needs!

Self checkouts no longer accept/give cash,so if you need cash back and only have a few items chances are you're going to have to stand in a line with people who have a whole bunch of stuff...

I stayed away from Wegmans for years because the assumption is that the market is extremely expensive. But I was in a for a total surprise a few months ago. My first visit...I almost missed the "grocery store " part of the market because I spent 95% of my time in their To Go section. I mean it's MASSIVE! From seafood, pre-made Pizzas, sushi, sandwiches, soups, Asian food, appetizers ...it's way too much to name. Usually pre-made grocery store food is awful but not Wegmans!!! The bakery is phenomenal! Just wish they had cheesecake lol. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. I kindly cross the bridge from Philly to shop here for my groceries any day of the week!

Pros: Huge selection of produce and other items so you can almost always find what you are looking for and it's of good quality too. Produce and seafood is generally very fresh. Bakery products are very good. Cons: The cons make me hesitant to shop there. The first issue that you must ALWAYS check your receipt before leaving. I've been charged 2 or 3 times for one item several times in the past. Recently, I purchased an inexpensive cut of trout. When leaving, I looked at the receipt and noticed I was charged for a $30 piece of swordfish, as opposed to an $8 piece of trout. Turns out the person at the fish counter rang it up as the most expensive cut of fish they had. I'm glad I noticed this before leaving and the front desk was nice about fixing this error. The last time I was there, I noticed 3 mini vanilla cakes in the bakery, all the same sized cake. One was priced at $9 "mini vanilla cake" but the other two were mislabeled and priced as "$20 vanilla cake." So, a customer may not have noticed this and paid an extra $11 for a mini vanilla cake because the bakery mislabeled it. I will say, in their defense, that the store is very, very crowded on the weekends and the employees work very hard so mistakes can happen, but I think some employees working in the fish and bakery section should be a little more careful. The biggest con is that everything at this store is overpriced. Yes, the quality is great, but $6-9 for a mini slice of cake or $8 for a loaf of fresh bread is outrageous. Have they forgotten that minimum wage is still $7.25? Their premade meals look great, but the price is just too high to even remotely justify purchasing because you can go out for a fancy dinner for less. They also advertise their Wegmans store card, but nothing is ever on sale! So what's the point of getting the card if nothing is ever on sale? Overall: Good quality, but always check your receipts and be prepared to spend much more than you would in another grocery store.

I love this store. It’s huge! Very friendly and helpful staff. I don’t get over here from Philadelphia very often, but when I do it’s a little like being back in Western New York.
