My wife and daughter loved their food. My wife had the chicken egg rolls, and my daughter had chicken fingers that were really good, but for me, at $24, the meatloaf wasn't blow my mind good. It's good but not great. The butternut squash was ok but a bit under cooked for me, and the salad was fresh and flavorful. Maybe if the meatloaf was priced more reasonably, I would have thought better of it. I will definitely return and try something else.

Excellent family atmosphere to dine in. Our greeting when my family and I walked in was so welcoming. The waitress were very nice and friendly. They looked like they enjoyed working there. The food was very flavorful and not overpowered with salt. The buffalo chicken egg roll was delicious. My little one enjoyed the mac n cheese with a grilled cheese (just cheddar). I ate some of her meal too! LOL. I had the meatloaf with mash and gravy and sauteed green beans. This entree hit the spot. My husband had the chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were lightly coated and seasoned just enough. Now I know when people hear GF dessert, they're turned off. Nope, the GF Black and white cake for dessert was very moist, lightly sweetened, and delicious. This place was fantastic. I will return and recommend that you try it.

Place is nice and laid back with awesome food. Paid $48 for a French Onion Soup, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, 10pc Chicken Tenders, Sweet Potato Fries, 2 Seltzers, and a Crab cake. I'm uncertain why people think this place is expensive, it's actually very affordable for the quality of food. Will be back!

Limited menu but good food. Small seating area. Reservations should be made.

I was pleasantly surprised as I went in with no real expectations. The food was made well and everyone in my party was happy with it. Staff was nice and the space was small but well used. I highly recommend a reservation because they do not have a lot of tables and it gets busy fast so walking in might lead to a long wait.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Ordered the pot pie, which is a wedge of a larger pie and was served lukewarm. Filling was not really hot. Food and service could be better. We sat for 15 min before any noticed and finally brought water when other table sat after us got service right away.

Praise for Pren Kitchen and its staff.Got to give it to this restaurant they really impressed me with their simple Mushroom soup and a Ginger Pork Burger with Red Miso Aioli it was delicious. My compliments to the chef. A chef's kiss to this place. The service was amazing (something that is missed by many restaurants) my compliments to management for training a young staff to be so friendly and polite. We need more places like Pren kitchen it makes going out fun.

We ordered takeout on a Monday night from Pren. They said it would take 10 mins which sounded strange because we anticipated it to take longer. When we ate our food that timing made sense: A lot of our food was so stale it had to be thrown away. Disappointed.

Cute, quaint and very nice staff. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. BYOB to save some money and have a good evening. I had the meatloaf and loved it. The Pot Pie looked good and I'll have that the next time. Burgers looked very good too.

Stumbled upon Pren Kitchen while enjoying an afternoon shopping in downtown Chester. We were greeted by very friendly hostesses. The inside of the restaurant was very cute with homelike touches - there was a giant scrabble board on the wall and many games for children to grab. The menu was plentiful and lots of great specials. The waiter recommended the meatloaf which I ended up ordering. It was very delicious and flavorful and it might be the best I have ever had! It came with 2 sides of which I chose the French onion soup and Mac and cheese. Both were delicious. We also ordered the pork nachos which were a very generous portion. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

My sister and I went on a a little drive today to pick up a FB Marketplace find. Once we secured the goods, we thought we'd explore the area. Using handy-dandy Yelp, we found this gem! It did not disappoint! The staff is a bunch of youngsters who had manners for days! The menu gives you a heads up that the establishment likes to employ "first time workers"...which encourages you to be kind and all patrons just want these "kids" to succeed! Amazing establishment, great food and fantastic vibe!!
