This is a great indie ice cream parlor. It's one of the hidden gems that is known to locals. It's won awards as one of the best ice cream shops in Northern NJ.If you're ever in the area, it's worth a look.Parking: Parking is convenient on the side. If it's busy, the spaces can fill up though.
We recently moved to the area, but have been lucky enough to experience Taylor's for several years even before. It has such a classic, historical vibe with the most delicious homemade ice cream that can't be matched! You truly can't beat this ice cream parlor. It's perfect for an on the go sweet treat, or (even better) with a nice stroll down main street in the historical town center of Chester. I would highly recommend Taylor's!

Loved the banana split, all the three flavors were really good, I enjoyed it very much. The only thing I noticed was the ice cream was served on the lid part of the take out container, which had less room. The instructions to open on the container were not in sync to actually open it, else the quality of ice cream is so good, I meant order again soon :)

Their ice cream is all homemade and very delicious. The girl working the counter was very friendly, smiling, and just happy to be there. She was also very patient with my girlfriend and I because we ended up trying like 10 different flavors. The place is very clean, and the portions are generous. We ended up spending about $60 between the ice cream cone my girlfriend got, the milkshake I got, and 2.5 pints of ice cream to take home. Highly recommend.
