Great ppl are friendly and helpful but the prices of the drinks could be better but it’s worth it tbh and I haven’t tried their food yet but I’ve heard nothing but great things

Chicken fried rice is my fave... somebody not seasoning the fried rice ...chicken a bit burnt but flavorful & more sauce would be nice ...and clean up that blasted kitchen ‍

I ordered a chicken with fried rice and pork, the rice had no flavor, the chicken look fake and tough. The pork had too much sauce it gave it an aftertaste. What happened to castaway? the food is no good.

The food here is so bland. I ate here twice. The second time, I ordered something different to see if it would have more taste than the first dish. Nope. And on top of that, they burnt the BBQ chicken. The two stars are for the rum punch.

Great vibes! My partner is Guyanese and I’m plain black American and I love the carribean vibes! Food is amazing. Servers are super sweet and attentive. If you don’t like carribean vibes this isn’t the place for you. I’d come every weekend if I could afford it !

This place is okay, the music is good and it’s nice to find a place playing Caribbean music in Jersey… The food was bland, and drinks overpriced. The menu is limited and most of the food taste the same. The major downside, there was hair in one of the dishes we ordered.Having your food at a restaurant come with hair is a major concern. And it was a long hair, tangled into the rice.We know that things happen, but overall I would not recommend or return. The outside patio is nice but fills up quickly with smokers and the music inside is really loud so that the sound can travel through.

I ordered vegetable noodles soup and vegetable lomein. Food had no flavor whatsoever, BLAND!!!! I should have known from how the girl answered the phone that I should have hung up immediately. She didn't even give me any info about my order, hung up, and I had to call back (another sign I should have let them cook it and then not show up). Then I was charged a higher price than what was on the menu. I will NEVER get food from here again, EVER! And the soup had no noodles, it's like they threw the remainder of the vegetables in the lomein into the soup and I wouldn't even call it a vegetable lomein bc there was only broccoli, 3-4 shreds of carrots, and cabbage. I don't know how cabbage makes it into lomein or soup. The cabbage wasn't even mixed in. Lastly, if I have to pay a cover charge to get in to a venue, im not spending money on drinks or anything else while im there (called pre-game before you go). Businesses actually lose money that way, it's a deterrent; not a smart business call. I saw so many ppl walk away..which is more money at the bar.Sidenote: I saw someone write in another post this is Jamaican food. NO IT ISN'T, not even close! Jamaicans cook better than this and there were no blk ppl in that kitchen.
