This is my second time eating at this restaurant and I have always ordered the steak, beans and rice , which I find very flavorful. I really enjoy the taste and price is not that expensive. I'm just sorry that there is no parking, a chance you take as a motorist finding parking on the street near establishment.

Bad experience, had to wait 2 hrs and lunch never arrived. At my job I only get a 30 min lunch break. I called at 11:33am. I understand that delivery might take up to 1 hr and this is why I ordered in advance. It was 1:26pm and unbelievably lunch was still not here. I called to cancel the delivery. All they said is that they had an issue and didn't offer an apology or anything. I will never order from this unreliable place again.
As someone who appreciates authentic Mexican cuisine, I was really looking forward to this and. expecting more based on the reviews. PROS: The homemade aguas frescas (horchata and jamaica) were good. The homemade chiles curtidos they serve with the chips were also delicious and flavorful. The caldo de res was also good although they could have left out the yucca (have never had authentic Mexican caldo with yucca). The server was pleasant. Bathroom sink clean. CONS: The beef flautas and sope-like dish with meat on top lacked flavor. The beans inside the flat tortilla were dry and flavorless. We asked multiple times for more chips while we waited for our food but either our server didn't hear us or ignored the request. (We asked about chicken soup earlier and server said they ran out. Poor planning as several things they were out of.) They have plastic bottles which contain salsas to add to the chips. After having given up on asking for more chips, server came to take our bottles (which one of my guests was still using) to give to the table next to us (one woman seated there). Apparently they only have one set of bottles for the entire restaurant? IDK. Ironically, the other table didn't even use them. Here is the part that made me lose my appetite (so much for ordering dessert)--went to the single use women's restroom only to find the foamy plastic toilet lid was falling apart and too small for the (oval) basin. It kept moving around. There was a toilet paper roll which looked like it was one of those huge ones that go in a dispenser. The only roll that was there looked somewhat soiled on the sides and was on top of the tank lid. No dispenser. The final thing which seemed tacky is they add a surcharge for paying with your debit card. There is no mention of that on their menus. Our entire order was over $40. I could see them doing a surcharge if it was less than $10.
