First time visiting this place.. I came to celebrate my sister's birthday and we had a blast.. The food and the drinks were on point.. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.. It's cute spot to go and hang out late..I'll be back..

The menu is inconsistent. Online says one thing and when you go there many of the dishes are off the menu. The food wasn't all that. The worse spinach and artichoke dip I've ever had. They basically chop up spinach and artichoke and combine it, serve it with toasted flat bread. The bread was better. We also ordered wings. Nothing to rave about. The bar is pretty good with friendly staff. We had a little too much to drink. Im giving you a 3 because the drinks are worth the money, the live music was amazing, and the bartenders were cool. Thanks Hakeem for your attentiveness.

Was looking forward to coming back here for the catfish or the shrimp and crispy grit cakes. Or the NY strip or the fried chicken and waffles. These reviews are all showing that this restaurant is no longer NOLA, in fact it's Middle Eastern. So disappointing. I really loved their NOLA style and flavors. Sad. Won't go back.

I did love Hat City overall but they were probably having an off night in terms of service. Food was delicious but it took an awfully long time. Our server was very nice but she seemed to keep forgetting to put in our orders. Our companions had to remind her three or four times about their missing entree. All that said, again, the food is delicious, portions fine, prices decent, very varied menu, friendly owners, great ambiance. Among the food we ordered: We had a spinach artichoke dip that was to die for, hummus was delicious, strawberry habanero margarita was insane! They also have great music. I'll be back for sure.
