what a joke. called my order in at 6:30. took my $40 instantly. get a text at 7:00 that the chicken will be ready in 1/2 hr. ok? so by the time i get it, it will be 8, right? 1 hour sounds right? no answer. call at 8:30. is my food on the way? we’re starving. yes it’s on the way. our food comes at 9:00. who eats dinner at 9pm?? all good if the food is good, but no. SALTY as hell. bananas sucked. soggy fries. rice was disappointing. they gave me 2 sodas for my trouble. we don’t drink soda. you should have given me back $10, at least. never again. in the future, don’t lie to your customers. it’s insulting.

The food is good but the service is horrible. I ordered a noddle soup that has a choice of beef or chicken and I told the server I wanted chicken. 5-10 minutes later, my order came out and it’s beef strips. I complained to the server that I ordered chicken and she even argued with me that I said beef. She said if I wanted chicken as add on, I have to pay extra $4. There’s only 2 server at that time, one barely speaks English and the other who speaks English barely knows the menu. My husband ordered a combo (1/2 roasted chicken with rice, salad, fries). We thought we ordered the one that comes with egg and when we asked the server where is the egg? She went back and check and came back telling us that we ordered the other combo that didn’t come with egg. The server has to repeat the customers’ orders before she leave the table to make sure she got everything correct. We are excited to try this new place in town but with this kind of service, it will be the first and the last visit.

Peruvian chicken is great sometimes. Today I had reheated chicken and one green sauce. What a shame. Overall food is good. Parking not so good. There is really no place to park too close.

Usually go to Sabor Peruano or Hugos in Rahway but they were closed. Would have rather just got something else all together. Simple order of chaufa de carne called in. Show up and they give me chaufa de pollo. They even asked on phone “chaufa de mixto”? and I repeated chaufa de CARNE and she said ok. So now waited 15 mins again for the fixed order. $17.99+tax and the woman says “veinte ($20)” when the screen clearly says the $19.18 so now they tried to overcharge too. Really small chinese pint sized serving for $18 and only 1 little green sauce with barely anything in it. Ask for another green sauce and they said $1. Look at the pictures. Never again. Stick to Sabor Peruano, Hugo’s or Caido del Cielo nearby where they’ll give you a whole tray for around the same price. Place is ran terribly and overpriced. Also, if you don’t speak Spanish, good luck. Though it didn’t even help when I ordered in Spanish anyway…

These people are SO disorganized. They dropped off their menu @ my job, L’Oréal. They have 2 numbers listed. 1 for the English line and 1 for the Spanish line. I called the English line and a woman answers in Spanish and had to get someone who spoke English.I ordered my lunch 2 hours in advance and I specifically asked for it to arrive at my lunchbreak, 1pm. The driver got here 10 mins late.On a separate occasion, again, my order was NOT delivered on time. I called about 3 times when finally they informed me that the driver had “a flat tire”. Why did no one call and communicate? I drove to pick up my food and wasted my whole break. Also, the short, overweight lady who only speaks Spanish had attitude when I picked up my order.The address on the menu is WRONG. The hours of operation on the menu is ALSO WRONG. I called at 9 they said they open at 9:30. I asked for an egg breakfast sandwich and they told me they are not serving sandwiches. What??? Yesterday, I called for ocupa and they said they didn’t have it. So, they never have anything on the menu.I don’t think it’s a business phone, I believe it’s a personal cell because a rude woman answered sounding sleepy. She asked me to call back at 9:30 only to tell me that there’s no breakfast sandwich after I ASKED THE FIRST TIME I CALLED AT 9am! Why make me wait til 9:30 to tell me?!I will never order from here again. Ghetto, unprofessional, rude and disorganized. I’m so disappointed. I tried to give them a chance but now I realize, the complaints online were accurate.

Wait time was too long, told me 20 mins when I ordered, got food after 50 mins, charged more money, when asked, said these prices are old, new menu is coming next week with updated prices, why would you charge me extra this week, if new menu prices will be listed from next week. You should charge me only for the prices in the menu which you showed today. Poor service overall.
