Our waitress Anastasia was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable about the history of Filomena's and the food and different wines and she steered us in the right direction. The food was delicious, and it was nice that the bar was on the other side of the restaurant.
Five stars is not enough. 10 stars would be a start. Two years in a row we've had a celebratory dinner for our dancers (attending a national competition), this year we were also celebrating a birthday. As it happens with competitions, they moved up the awards ceremony as we were just arriving, cutting our two hour time slot to just an hour. My chicken parm was a bit overcooked, but the salad, bread, eggplant and linguine were perfect. The ambience and service were wonderful. I want to go back during the Christmas holidays to see how beautiful it will be.
