The food was not that good. The medium portion looked like a small. The greens beans were terrible, they were canned and tinted orange, only tasted like Sazon Goya and had a pinch of pepper, very weird. The macaroni were alright, thick, had a nice burnt cheese layer. The plantains were firm and not sweet, not ripe enough. The curry chicken was ok, came with a bunch of potatoes, the broth was clear, thin, and oily. The broth leaked out of the plastic takeout bag and on to my lap staining my clothes, not to mention plastic bags are banned here. No utensils or napkins provided! The menu on their website doesn't include anything except drinks and desserts so you can't use the order online feature.

I am so disappointed! I recent moved to south jersey and was craving jamaican food but didnt feel like cooking. Everything was overly cooked and burnt. The plantain was burnt, the fried chicken and jerk chicken were also burnt. I dont understand why people open up resturants knowing thier cooking is not up to par. Waste of money.

I was attending Pennco-Tech in Blackwood and was looking for someone good to eat. I came across Jamrock Reggae Soul and were impressed. I purchased the Curry shrimp, rice & peas, and bananas. Their food is made with love and always made fresh. 10 out of 10, I would recommend. You will not be disappointed.

I was getting a take out the girl that was getting the food ready was very rude no customer service skills and another person was waiting on grub hub order the same girl was so so Rude to the delivery driver it’s was sad she didn’t even listen to the driver she kept on telling him why you here I put the time on there and the driver was showing the pick up time she didn’t want to look or listen to the proof it was very shameful to see grub hub driver being treated like that

It is well known that you will encounter some nasty attitudes when visiting some Jamaican/West Indian establishments. Coming from NYC, I’ve come in contact with some attitudes,- but I was willing to bite my tongue because the food was good. Here, the food is mediocre at best, but what takes the cake is the service with an attitude. Business owners, please stop employing your family members to be the face of your establishment if you’d like your business to grow. I would have come back for the mediocre food because we are in south Jersey, but I will not be returning due to the poor customer service. Free advice: Put a smile on your face and greet your customers. They are there to make sure you stay open.
