Order off of grubhub limited drop down options. I was able to write down what I wanted and everything came as order. The goat and jerk chicken is fire. Wasn't a fan of curry chicken.

We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who guided us through the sizes and menu items. Once we ordered the food was being prepped and cooked and we waited no longer than 15 minutes. Food was hot & juicy, meats were tender and flavorful & while I have to not been to many Jamaican restaurants to fully compare, I know this food was delicious. We even had leftovers for no more than $50

yalllll listen everything from this place has been soo good!the oxtails are my all time favorite ,the rice and peas are top tier,cabbage is always fresh,and one day I went for oxtails and they ran out so the chef suggested I try the brown stew chicken and it did not disappoint in any way.its a take out restaurant but it really feels like youre eating jamaican from someone's grandmoms or aunties houselike they made the food just for you..i love iti enjoy the people when i come in.I dont write reviews unless its necessary.

We ordered delivery service. The food here was tasty. The jerk chicken was tender. The cabbage was very good and the rice and peas were good. I'll definitely come back as I haven't found a better spot yet. My husband had the ribs and said they were good too.

Absolutely delicious! We ordered the jerk chicken platter and jerk wing platter with cabbage and rice/peas. The flavor profile was amazing. Everything was mild enough for my kids to try but flavorful. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and polite. I will absolutely be back

Wanted to try this restaurant due to all of the good reviews. Tried it and I have to say “it wasn’t what I expected”.I ordered ackee and salt fish that wasn’t fresh rice and beans were dry. The lady outside the restaurant who had the nerve to have on a Jamaican flag shirt as if she was the greeter was very stoic. I cracked a smile at her as I entered she didn’t bother to smile back but frowned even more. Inside the restaurant it’s very clean and the lady who served me seemed to have a better disposition. However the other staff inside seemed very much like the lady who I saw when I first entered. Have to say the prices were extremely high and didn’t coincide with the food increments or quality. Will not be returning and don’t recommend!

Today was our 2nd time having dinner from Mama Lune’s Jamaican Grill.Tonight it was oxtails and curry goat. When I tell you Mama Lune’s is what you want, I mean it!! The service is great and the food is delicious!After 8 years of living in South Jersey I have finally found a Jamaican restaurant where the food is cooked perfectly! I’m permanently hooked! Thank you Mama Lune’s for a perfect dinner tonight! My husband was very content. BlessingsVegetarian options: Cabbage, steamed fish, Ackee and salt fish, plantain.Parking: It’s in a plaza so there is plenty of spaces for parking.
This place is amazing!! Orville, who was behind the counter, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We got the j*** pork and j*** chicken, both with rice and beans, plus cabbage and green beans respectively. Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious, and Orville even offered up a piece of oxtail to try while we were chatting, which my son will definitely be ordering next time. Overall, Mama Lune's has a welcoming atmosphere with food that is out of this world. This has definitely become our go-to Jamaican spot from now on!

What a welcomed surprise! We were craving some authentic Jamaican food and as per, Yelp didn't disappoint. We placed an online order for pickup (no dining in) and within about 3 minutes the owner (Orville) called us and alerted us that the steamed fish can take about 25 minutes. This helped us plan our trip, and we greatly appreciated it! We ordered the Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, and the Steamed Fish. We selected rice and beans/peas for our starchy sides and green beans for our vegetables. And we threw in an order of Fried Plantains (I cannot pass them up EVER). The restaurant is small and immaculately clean. I had the pleasure of chatting with Orville while he completed my to-go order. I love a hands-on business owner who genuinely cares about his product. The aromas were making my stomach growl, and I couldn't wait to get home to dig in!The portions were huge, and this made my day, as I love having lunch options for the next day (and the day following!). Everything was piping hot and sensational. You know how you can tell when food is made with love? Well, our dishes were created with extra helpings. SO GOOD. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with ample parking. There is nothing worse than circling the block and trying to find street parking...not so here!We are so thankful for having found this little gem!

Oxtails, beans, and rice with gravy and cabbage. Since my favorite Jamaican restaurant is an hour away. I decided to try Mama Lune's . The oxtail gravy was salty. The cabbage had no taste. Now I'm not going to front. I've had Mama Lune's before and enjoyed the food. I don't know what happened this time. Maybe it's a different cook. Where is my previous review of when I liked Mama Lune's? Hopefully, when I order again.
