The food was good, but our combo platter didn't come with Doner kebab (not sliced from the meat rack). Place is BYOB, so you should definitely bring some alcohol. It was Thursday dinner time, but there were only 2 other tables. Good for us, I guess, but not so much for the business. I asked a Turkish coworker, and he said he stopped coming here. I'm not sure the real reason, but the place was empty and quiet. There is a small parking lot but it was already full. You need to find street parking down a few blocks.

All other Turkish and Mediterranean restaurants try to imitate Dayinin Yeri, none come close. This restaurant sets the gold standard for healthy Mediterranean cuisine par excellence. I am a devote of the 333 Palisades Avenue location, although the Gorge Road location is EXCELLENT and beautiful.Dayinin Yeri is ideal for a date, group of friends (and family) or a party. I’ve done all three. Which is to say, it’s fun for a crowd or dinner for two. Love that it’s BYOB.The quality and preparation of the food is extraordinary.The Shepard Salad with fetta is perfection on a plate. The bread, special bread, lahmacun and pide are masterful. The lebni proof there is a heaven and all the all the hot and cold appetizers are fabulous. The entrees, all the kebabs, has-has, fish and combination platters are delicious and easy to share, especially good when you’ve ordered an array of appetizers.The staff is friendly and personable…as are the other patrons in the restaurant which makes it both a fun and delicious dinning experience. I always feel at home at Dayinin Yeri, and I’ve never been to Turkey.

Food was great and meat was juicy and nice smoky flavor. I like their bread and the appetizer platter. With the clientele being mostly locals, you can tell this place is authentic
Love the Sheppards salad , lamb chops and tomatoes eggplant salad. The puffy bread is the best

I'm genuinely not the type of person to give bad reviews. I normally wouldn't say anything at all. But today I feel like I need to. I came because I loved this place and the food, but today when I asked the waitress for one of the small appetizers combo, I asked to confirm multiple times that it was the small combo of $21. She said yes several times even when she delivered the order to our table, confirming. When we got the check, she charged me for each of the 4 appetizers, around $9 each! If it was a mistake it was fine, so I asked her about it and she said no sorry I just don't speak English well and didn't offer to update it! I was shocked. They were gonna overcharge me when I confirmed constantly that I was ordering the combo. That's not even the craziest part. When I asked them to update it, they didn't refund me they CHARGED ME the amount they were supposed to refund me and tried to convince me it was a refund because the guy labeled the transaction "cash refoun" didn't even spell it right! So they actually owed me like $30 at this point and the guy was penny pinching so much he didn't even try to refund the entire amount (70 cents). This isn't about the money. Even after all this I know it's hard to be a waitress so I still paid 20% tip of the entire amount they wrongly overcharged me plus tax. But the fact that they still were penny pinching and treating me so poorly pissed me off and that never happens.

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM DAYI'NIN YERI! STAFF IS HORRIBLE TO YOU!I ordered few things on Sep 29th. And they delivered 1 item missing. They did it the same thing before.Now I am calling the restaurant, she did not want to compansate their mistake!!!! At the end she offered me something which is lower price than the item I ordered before. When I said 'seriously??!!' she said it's been 10 days already, what else you want me to do!!! Disgusting!STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM RESTAURANT !!!!! Never again!
