The samosa chaat appetizer was really good, smothered with sauces and chick peas, a repeat order for sure. We ordered the Chicken tikka masala and the Hyderabadi chicken, both medium spicy, both good, well try different entrees next time for variety. Service - Surprisingly good tag team service, the duo was quick from everything to seating, water, ordering, and food delivery. Both guys were courteous and prompt, thank you. Location - Located in a strip mall in a major road in Winter Park so a convenient location. There is a large parking lot so no issues there. Ambiance - Nicely decorated with wall art and a stone wall, smartly appointed. This place is as nice for lunch as it for a date night.

When I manage a trip up north to Orlando I always stop at Tamarind in Winter Park for their lunch specials. The lamb tikka masala is my favorite and the various naan breads are so good! I can not say enough about the delicious flavors that dance on my tongue with each bite!

We have eaten at many Indian restaurants but sadly, this is not one of the best ones. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and the server masked. However,, the menu was smaller than usually found and some of my favorites that one can get everywhere were missing. The food was OK but not as good as I am normally used to. I think that given what we ordered, our meal was somewhat overpriced. We likely won't go back as there are much better places to eat. I know my review is an outlier, but this was our hones opinion.

I have been looking for an authentic Indian restaurant for a while. This is now my go-to-place when I am in Orlando. The dosa was super tasty and the three accompanying dips excellent and very different. The Indian curry I chose was spicy but not overpowering. Attentive service and reasonably priced for the huge portions. I took half back home as it was too good to leave behind.

After reading the reviews, both the extremely positive ones and the few negative ones, we were a little hesitant. Bottom line: we were blown away by the excellent service and the amazing food. We had three different appetizers and three different main courses. Every selection was rated a 10 out of 10 at our table. My absolute favorite was Tomato Coconut Shorba. As well as the food, the service was excellent. Our team leader was Hoky. I can’t say enough good things about the way he assisted us through the menu and made sure, that we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

From the outside this gem is hidden by the large box stores surrounding it, but what a find! This was our first time here! Tamarind's food was scrumptious with huge servings and reasonably priced! There is social distancing and everyone wears masks. It's super clean and the server was very accommodating to our "less spicy" request. The lamb was very tender and the lentil soup was just spicy enough. The lunch specials are a great value and include a lamb, fish/shrimp, chicken with your choice of sauce, rice, lentil, salad and plentiful NAAN. We will definitely return! You don't want to miss this gem!

I placed an order for three entrees at 6:30. They said 20 minutes. Arrived at 7:10 and order was not ready. In addition, they forgot one of our entrees. It’s now 7:30 and we are still waiting to pick up our food. Someone who placed his order at same time we arrived left with his food five minutes ago. If you forget one of my entrees, I expect that order to be rushed, not put at the back of the line. I don’t care hiw good it is; I will not return!!!

my wife and I were looking for someplace new for dinner and discovered lada café. It seemed interesting so we actually drove about 40 minutes to get there and had the most amazing meal and wonderful warm and friendly experience you can have in any restaurant in the world. The food was awesome. We we tasted many dishes and loved everyone of them especially the veal schnitzel which was out of this world. Michael 'our server is a lovely caring young man who couldn't do enough for us and everyone else in the restaurant. We will be frequenting lada café and can't wait for our next meal. Run don't walk...It is terrific!

Food was delish but the service was really inattentive. We had to ask many times. We have eaten here many many times but since the renovation the service has really gone down. They are always in a hurry, and not observant of what’s happening in the room. Great food, horrible experience.

We had meat blitzes, borscht to start followed by delicious lamb kebab with a side of Kasha and beef stroganoff with red bliss potatoes. For desert we shared homemade Apple pie. Our waiter,Michael was an excellent server. Go to this restaurant, you will be glad you did.
