This is the best bakery in Clifton they made my granddaughter 1st birthday cake so I decided to go and get her sweet sixteen cake to find out that the bakery has been sold I am going to miss gourmet bakery it was my go to bakery

The dulce de leche cheesecake was amazing. The raspberry tart was soft and tasty. The desserts I had were fresh and delicious. I was only able to take pictures of the cheesecake because everything else I brought was eaten before I could take a picture. The owner is friendly and helpful when asked about the different baked goods. Will definitely be returning.

Have gotten a few cakes from here over the years so we decided to go to them for our wedding cake...and were not disappointed. We were having a small event so didn't need a monster sized cake, they were able to scale one of the options down to our size. The cake itself was moist and tasted great...with the right ratio of cake (chocolate) to filing (raspberry) so that one didn't overpower the other....and the icing wasn't overly sweet like some bakeries make buttercream.

Ahhhmmmaazinggggg cakes literally went to gourmet desserts 4 days before my mil and daughters birthday party and even though it was such short notice he assured me he can do it and it’ll be ready and sure enough it was the design exceeded my expectations and let me tell you about the taste!!!!!! The cake is so moist and the cream is just the perfect amount of sweetness we got one chocolate cake with chocolate mousse topped with chocolate covered strawberries (ntm they were very generous with the amount they put on) and the second cake was vanilla with strawberry cream filling !!! Literally best designs best tasting fresh cake thank you so much def my go to bakery

O baby! It's definitely time to write this review now. This place Makes me so happy. You walk in this area, you smell the butter and sugar in the air and it leads into the doors of Gourmet Desserts. My family is obsessed with the raspberry filling cookies and we think their rainbow cookies are the best around.. including better than Lyndhurst Bakery. They make a bunch of different custom cakes too. Go here now! Open till 6pm on weeknights!

Stopped in here today (Tuesday) to attempt to have a birthday cake made for Friday. Was told by guy behind the counter that they had too many orders and wouldn't be able to do it. Pretty disappointing to say the least. Have heard nothing but good things about this bakery but came away with zippo. Might give them a try in the future but definitely not a good review for now.

This is the retail storefront for a wholesale kitchen in the back (huge). Everything I have had here was great and the small italian style cookies are my favorite, perfect with a hot cup of tea or coffee. I also had a chocolate mousse cake which was fantastic. Prices are good and the folks who work here are all very nice.
