I came here and asked for a very complicated sandwich and they made sure I got exactly what I asked for. The service was great and I had a very fun conversation with the owners who happened to have the same last name as me, which was very cool. The sandwich was amazing, and even though I live far, I will come back.

Henry's Delicatessen on Van Houten Avenue is one solid deli to visit. They make a very nice set of subs and sandwiches with quite good deli salads to compliment your little meal. The subs and sandwiches are packed up with meat, and cheese and are quite substantial. They also sell various deli by the pound. The service is very friendly and attentive and willing to please, while the prices are reasonable. All in all, it's a good visit.

I ordered a prosciutto and fresh mozzarella sub. This is what I got. They were pretty good when I first started going there. I can see charging more for compensation, but don't skimp out on the sandwiches when you're already charging more. More money for less than half the sandwich. Very disappointed.

While it might be a freezing cold icy morning they are there "friendly staff" ready for the hard working people with a coffee, hard roll and a news paper. or sunny afternoon lunch with friends Henry"s has been there even after nearly burning down (i was worried they would just give up) but they came back. really delicious salads or a hearty BLT they will have whatever you need. if you haven't been there give them a try. i have been going there for nearly 30 years never a bad meal to speak of.

My 88year old mom who has been going there for 25 years was verbally attacked for warming up her coffee. Amazing. She goes every day to Henry,s. Usually she is happy. They have disrespectful girls working there. HOPE KEVIN READS THIS. Over warming up coffee.

Have been going here since I was little, always have fond memories in middle school of going here and getting drinks, snacks and subs with my friends. Their sandwiches are always top notch and their potato salad is to die for. The staff is always super friendly and amazing. I remember when they had the fire there several years ago, and since they remodel it has always been the same. Their sandwiches are better than troops all the way.As long as I live in Clifton, I will always go here for the good food and nostalgic memories.
